Had a lovely experience at Cafe Allora! Despite a slight delay in serving, our table was very well managed by Mr. Sahil Srivastava, who handled everything professionally and made sure we were comfortable throughout. He immediately compensated for the delay with a complimentary dessert, which was a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated. Great food, hospitality and customer service, thank you for making our visit pleasant!

The pasta was superb. Although they use ready made pasta, the sauce was excellent. Had the fettuccine carbonara!

The food was good overall. I ordered the Capsicum Onion Chilli Pizza (not sure if that’s the exact name, but something along those lines) along with the classic garlic bread. The garlic bread was okay at best I wasn’t a big fan of it because it was quite stiff and hard to bite into. The pizza, however, was amazing and definitely the highlight of the meal. The service was decent too not the best, but not bad either. The staff seemed a bit indecisive about whether they wanted to serve us or not, as they kept coming to the table asking if we wanted them to serve after we had already started taking food ourselves. We didn’t really mind it, but it did feel a little awkward.

I ordered the truffle mac and cheese first it was decent, but nothing memorable. Definitely overhyped for the price. I’d give it a 3/5 at best. Then came their “speciality” cheesecake, and honestly, that’s where the experience completely crashed. It was hands down one of the worst cheesecakes I’ve ever tasted. The texture, the flavor, everything about it felt wrong. I genuinely felt sick after a few bites and almost wanted to throw up. I’ve had cheesecakes from plenty of places, and this one easily ranks at the absolute bottom of the list. Calling it a “speciality” on the menu is honestly misleading. If anything, they should be paying customers to eat it. I really can’t emphasize enough how unbelievably bad it was. The mac and cheese was average, but the cheesecake alone made the whole visit disappointing.
