In a city rapidly expanding its culinary horizons, Tuk Tuk Thai Kitchen in Ahmedabad stands out not just as a restaurant, but as a spirited celebration of Pan-Asian fusion. Stepping inside, one is immediately struck by an energy that promises more than just a meal—it promises an itinerary of flavors ranging from the streets of Jakarta to the kitchens of Seoul. My recent visit was a testament to their mastery of "comfort food with a passport." The meal opened with the Indonesian-Japanese Soto Soup. A fascinating fusion that bridges two distinct culinary traditions, this soup was the embrace I didn't know I needed. It arrived piping hot—warm, savory, and deeply aromatic—striking a delicate balance between the herbal complexity of Indonesian Soto and the refined clarity of Japanese broth. Following the soup, the Kimbap Sushi arrived, showcasing the kitchen’s precision. Rice is often the downfall of lesser establishments, but here it was seasoned perfectly, providing the ideal canvas for the fresh, crunchy fillings. It was a delightful prelude to what was, arguably, the star of the show: the Mushroom Bao. If you visit Tuk Tuk Thai and skip the bao, you are missing the point. These pillowy, steam-cooked buns were nothing short of "lip-smacking awesome." The mushroom filling was umami-rich and texturally satisfying, offering a bite that was soft, savory, and incredibly moreish. Alongside this, the Dim Sums proved to be an absolute "must-try"—delicate skins holding flavorful treasures within, steamed to translucent perfection. The main event was the Korean Bibimbap Bowl, a dish that can often become a chaotic mix of ingredients in the wrong hands. Here, it was pure love in a bowl. Each component—the vegetables, the rice, the gochujang sauce—sang in harmony, creating a wholesome, spicy, and satisfying finale to the feast. Beyond the food, the service deserves its own applause. In a fine-dining landscape where service can sometimes be stiff or sluggish, the staff at Tuk Tuk Thai were refreshing: genuinely helpful, attentive without hovering, and impressively fast. They navigated the busy floor with a grace that allowed us to focus entirely on the food.

I visited Tuk Tuk – Bodakdev Ahmedabad recently with my wife and had a excellent experience. From the ambience to the seating, everything was good. The staff here was helpful. We got a complementary jasmine tea and a dessert (I guess due to Christmas). We ordered a rice item and one noodles item (I forgot the name) plus dimsums. All of the food tasted unique and delicious. Looking forward to visiting again and try other items soon.

In sushi there are only four option(less compare to other places) but they all are awesome and also the ginger and wasabi it taste really awesome. The food is delicious also for starters you must try diff soups, bowls and salad. The atmosphere here is quite awesome and the service is good too. I recommend you this place to check on your list
