This small restaurant has the best Arab-Turkish food in this side of town. Period. Run by Arab owners, the food tastes authentic and value for money. Their shawarmas are not the regular kind but just a hint of spice and everything else meat and it's juices. What else do you need. People who love spicy food, may not enjoy but I can guarantee that the flavour is spot on. We tried shawarmas, makhlamahs (scrambled egg with meat served with flat bread) and the Mandi. All those 3 dishes were gone as soon as they arrived. I personally enjoyed the makhlamahs. It tasted even better when the eggs rolled in the bread and dipped into their broth that they serve with Mandi. I'm sure they will be kind enough to give you the broth without the Mandi if you ask. Overall I'm glad to have found this place. I'm sure to be going soon again. Food: 4 Value: 4 Ambience: 3

Al Badia is located right next to the crowd puller Al Ammamah Cafe. This joint is run by Arabs and they serve authentic Turkish-Arabic cuisine. Their shawarmas don’t have the cabbage onion mix like other places. Their rolls are meat based as how it should be. The mutton sheekh is also excellent with tender meat and spiced just right served with two dips and khubbus. Saturday’s and Thursdays they serve beef shawarma for those wanting to try. The plate shawarma is a generous mound of meat for a person again the meat is the sensation. The restaurant is not a great place for a dine out. Very casually set and parking is a hassle on the road.

I gotta admit I felt like I was entering a whole other world when I visited this restaurant. For once you feel like an odd one out 😋. Ordered the beef mandi and chicken shawarma. I was so impressed with the soft succulent beef and the chicken Shawarma. The veggies served at the side long with the mild soup was pretty good too. This definitely feels like authentic Arabian food. I would recommend this restaurant for a try.

If you are from the Middle East and your tired of eating bad shawarmas in the city, head to this place. They have the best shawarmas. It takes you back to the Middle East.

I like their mutton mandi and seekh kababs The negative point is they almost always run out of mutton mandi and they replace it with beef

Their shawarmas are the best I ever had! A small place that serves best shawarma in the city, their kebabs are worth giving a try!

If anyone wish to eat Arabic Shawarma, I’m strongly recommending you to visit here. The taste of shawarma is excellent. ”But the problem is on their bills.” Their menu items price and the price on the bill counter is totally different. When i get my bill , i saw they mentioned 3 times amount as tax. I asked the details about this to the person who is sitting in the cash counter, his reply has no logic says that it’s their service charge. Because they serve the food. And they are showing this service charge on their bills as tax to the customers. I am not agreeing on that. And all others also says the same what I said. So he removed the money from the bill which he unnecessarily charged. So please always double check your bill.

After reading such positive reviews I finally decided to make a visit to A-Badia and believe me when left I had mixed feelings about my experience. Although there were certain things that I really loved like Meat/Service and certain things like Price/Ambience/Hummus warrants attention . I ordered Shawarma Hummus plate surprisingly the price is not mentioned on the menu , As one of the reviewers has mentioned the owners keep changing the prices. So tough luck if you order Shawarma items- You just have to shell out whatever the price is on that day. Now for Food Meat : Was excellent , tender and juicy no complaints. Roti : They served tandoori roti I exchanged it with kubus. Hummus : This is the where I was disappointed - Hummus was too thin - The final paste was grinded in mixer far too much - you could feel it, also I felt it lacked some Tahina in it . Price : Higher side : 270 for Shawarma with Hummus. Ambience : Nothing extravagant Service : Satisfactory as they responded to queries and brought Olive Oil when asked upon.

Food was ok. Ordered chicken mandi, but somehow felt it was more like a mixture of hyderabadi biryani and mandi. Service was a bit slow. Ambience was also nice.

Came here for the first time and I'm a little underwhelmed. The chicken tikka full flate came with a few tiny chicken pieces and a huge piece of bread and no sauce accompaniment with it. That makes zero sense. How can anybody eat such a huge bread thing with such a tiny little dry chicken dish? We ordered hummus on the side and that was okay. Then we got our shawarmas after 45minutes and that was also on the dry side, loaded with french fries, couldn't taste much else. Personally, I'm not a fan! Don't really recommend. Food: 1/5 Ambience: 2/5 Service : 0/5
