This place serves authentic Kerala cuisine whenever i travel towards Btm layout i make sure that i don't miss this place,my all time favourite here is choru the kerala meals and beef roast for the price we pay for meals cheta offers lot many dishes on plate not to miss their proper fish curry What keeps me going there is this place feels like home and serves healthy food,cheta is a down to earth and a humble person he himself comes and serves sometimes. Very good waiters they are really quick and will keep serving what ever you ask for let me highlight a off topic scene here once when my colleague left his mobile on table and we went back when we returned a waiter gave back the mobile such humble people they are coming to ambience this is a mess not a hotel and its a simple setup which is enough. Being a foodie i love to eat all kind of Indian cuisines and i eat all kind of meat if you feel offended by the word Beef,Kindly Excuse. Thank you.

The place doesnt look so great but the food is just great. I have tried chicken roast and it was awsome. If you want to try great kerala dishes its the place. You will get great food for affordable price.

Ordered chicken curry, parota and chicken biryani there. The food was awsome authentic one. The price is very reasonable. Must go place if you are looking for authentic food.

Jose chettan's mess is my favorite go-to destination in Madiwala area for Kerala food. I have been here on numerous occasions mostly for having breakfast The place will be packed mostly on weekends from the morning. There is nothing much to say about the ambiance as it is a mess and it will be mostly crowded. It is situated near to the Maruthi Nagar main road and parking can be a mess for 4 wheelers. The mess has got some space outside to park your 2 wheelers. It is advisable to go there on foot if you don't have a two-wheeler in Bangalore. They offer homely made Kerala food. Appam and Beef curry are my personal favorites here. I used to order this combo in most of my visits. Appam is very soft and the beef curry s simply amazing. The other main course curries which I personally suggest are (1) Veg Stew (2) Egg roast. Both are equally scrumptious and it goes perfectly with appam. Besides Appam, I 've also tried dosa and chicken biriyani in one of my visits. Both were equally good. The quantity of the biriyani was ample and even the price was reasonable. Service is good and fast. We don't need to wait much to get our order on our table and above all rate is reasonable. For 2 persons the total bill may come around 110-120 including 2 glasses of coffee/tea for breakfast. My Personal Favourites: Appam/Beef Curry Appam/Egg Roast or Veg Stew Chicken Biriyani Jose chettan's mess will be always one of my favorite destinations in Bangalore for Kerala food. I would definitely visit this place again whenever I get a chance to visit Madiwala in future.

Amazing place for Kerala food lovers. The price is worth the quantity and the taste that is offered. We had the kappa biryani, the meat fry and the chicken biryani here. All the items were really tasty. They also serve the best lime juice here. The sitting arrangement resembles that of a mess but the place is hygienic enough. Definitely check this out for authentic Kerala food.

I really like this place. Good food, fast service. Beef fry is especially really tasty. Tapioca is also great. I am a regular customer and haven't had any bad experiences so far.

Being here for 2 times ..one long back in 2017 when I heard that it is famous for it's chicken biriyani and ended up in dissapointment and din visit the place till 2019 and just made a 2nd visit just for trying kappa and beef roast and even a tea and all I could see was that the tea was awesome ..just for a few minutes I thought that I would come back to the place atleast to have a tea and could figure out that it should completely erase that thought coz of their worst service ..comparing to all the Kerala hotels in Bangalore I have not stepped into any place where they have such a bad service. 2/5 is a just too big a rating I guess🤣

കപ്പ ബിരിയാണി വാങ്ങല്ലേ, 300 രൂപക്ക് 2 എണ്ണം വാങ്ങി, മസാല + ഉപ്പ് ചൊവ്വ കാരണം കഴിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയില്ല, വെറുത്ത് പോയി ഇനി മേലാൽ ഇവിടുന്ന് വാങ്ങില്ല, തെണ്ടികൾ, കപ്പയിൽ കുറെ ഗരം മസാല ഇട്ടു ഉപ്പും ഇട്ടിട്ട് കപ്പ ബിരിയാണി പോലും 😪
