The food is overpriced and the quality does not match the hype created about the place on Instagram. Their pasta (aglio e olio) had barely 4 olive slices and just heaps of spaghetti, no garlic, no flavours really. Also, there was a group of customers asking about various desserts and the owner who was also managing the billing was busy addressing them for a good 15-20 mins while we had to keep waiting for this group to know all about the place's menu so that they can decide. Even when we had already decided what to order from the menu, we had to wait for the owner while they provided a walk-through of their menu to this other group. In such cases, there should be a different person for billing so that the wait time is less and then too food is not at all value for money.

We have been going to Juny’s for over six months now.. undoubtedly the best coffee and desserts place in this part of the city. It’s a small cafe with old Bangalore charm.

Love love love the hot chocolate and the basque cheese cake! The hazelnut spread was phenomenal as well 👽👽 the space was super beautiful and nostalgic! Coming back soon!

Juny's has got some great offerings under its belt - while the shortcake and cheesecake were sold out by the time my group of 3 visited (late evening), we could grab some of the Holiday specials - namely the olive oil tea cake and the smores choco brownie. Both of these were simply superb (although I liked the tea cake a bit more) - not too heavy, great quality of ingredients. The price is slightly on the higher side but it's definitely worth that occasional splurge!

Had the most decadent strawberry shortcake here! The sponge was light and flavourful, the cream was rich and the strawberries were a perfect balance of sweet and tart! We devoured the entire cake in one go. Loved it :)

pastries were not at all fresh..menu is very very limited..just a regular sandwich with 2 slices of bread and some thin stuffing slammed in between . basque cheesecake was a big let down ...it was more of a chocolate mousse..quite dry. the éclair was decent with light lemon cream .. Vietnamese cold coffee was ok too.. recommended only for the vibe ,for insta -worthy pics. avoid if you can as there are plenty around that area that you can satisfy your taste buds

Our recent visit to Juny’s Backhouse was extremely disappointing. Me and my friend were waiting patiently in queue to order, but the staff ignored us and started taking orders from others instead. When we politely pointed this out, the owner responded with a rude and unprofessional reply, accusing us of being impatient and disrespectful — despite us having visited multiple times before and having payment proof. The owner’s aggressive response publicly shaming customers is completely unacceptable. On top of this, the food is seriously overrated and not worth the high prices they charge. We only tolerated the place before because of its convenient location and decent seating for hanging out, but now we won’t be returning. Customer service and respect for patrons seem to be nonexistent here. I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting Juny’s Backhouse. If the owner wants proof of our visits, I’m happy to share it privately.

Extremely Disappointing Experience The owner and staff were outright rude. They allowed people to cut the queue and even took orders from others who weren’t at the counter. When I objected, they lied, claiming they were “just asking them to wait.” The owner even asked the other customer if they were “okay” with giving them preference — which is absurd. If someone is standing in line, basic respect for the queue should be maintained. When I decided not to order and gave feedback that the service was poor, the owner started badmouthing me and falsely claimed I hadn’t tasted their food. In reality, I have eaten here about five times — the food is very average at best. Overall, it’s not worth the attitude and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this place to anyone
