Food is great Service is good .. our order was lost n delayed but otherwise it was good The crowd can be very loud on weekends and the place is little cramped in space too. Now it’s ok as the food is good but if I wanna sit for an hour or two wd my friends to chill and eat the I would rather go here on weekdays noon.

The place definitely has potential, the food was not that great, the ambiance was pretty good. You should definitely try the crispy crab dumplings, the lamb chops were pretty mid. One thing that really put me off is that it’s Japanese place but they had Chinese chopsticks on the table, I would expect such a place to understand the difference, I would say that there’s a lack of attrition to detail.

Visited Katana for the first time with friends, and unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Right from the start, we were told the restaurant was full and that we could only have our table for an hour. However, once we were seated, we noticed several empty tables around us, which made the restriction feel unnecessary. After being seated, we discovered there was a Swiggy pre-booking offer that included a complimentary mocktail. We immediately made the booking, but the manager refused to honor it because we had already been seated. While I understand that policies exist, what disappointed me was the complete lack of flexibility and the blunt manner in which it was communicated. In hospitality, customer experience should matter just as much as the rules. A small gesture of goodwill, especially for first-time customers, could have left a completely different impression. The service continued to feel unnecessarily rigid. We ordered the Silky Vegetarian Creamy Ramen and wanted to share it, so we requested an extra bowl. The request was declined. Whether the dish is intended for one person or not, providing an empty bowl is such a basic courtesy that most restaurants are happy to extend. It made the overall experience feel less welcoming. As for the food, it was decent but nothing exceptional. The Corn Custard Crackers were okay, the Pickled Cucumber & Cream Cheese Uramaki was the highlight of the meal, while the Udon Veg Noodles were average. The Silky Vegetarian Creamy Ramen was also underwhelming and lacked the depth of flavour I was expecting. Overall, it felt like there was a lot of attitude for food that was, at best, average. For a restaurant with so much buzz, I expected warmer hospitality and a more customer-centric approach. Sadly, I left with a bitter impression, and despite it being my first visit, it's not somewhere I'd be keen to return.

honestly felt very disappointed with the overall dining experience. We entered around 2:35 PM and since their first half closing time was mentioned as 3:30 PM on Google we assumed we had enough time to dine comfortably.The staff informed us while seating that it would be the last order for lunch service, which was completely understandable, so we ordered everything at once throughout the meal it genuinely felt like the staff were just waiting for us to finish quickly so they could clear the table. Constantly hovering around and rushing the experience took away from what should have been a relaxed dining experience especially at a place where the pricing is on the premium side. Good food alone is not enough service and hospitality matter just as much. When customers are paying a significant amount for a meal they also expect to feel welcomed and comfortable not hurried. Hoping the management improves this aspect because the overall experience did not feel worth it.

Had been here for the BKB pop-up. Got served absolute garbage in the name of soba noodles. Just got handed down the limited menu "featuring" the BKB products. Had to wonder where it went in the chocolate cake though.They could have done so much more with the products and the event. Such a dull event (if it can even be called that). Total let down.
