Had a wonderful experience at Kizakaya! The ambience is elegant, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. The Japanese-inspired interiors and manga room add a unique charm to the place. The food was absolutely delicious, with great flavors and beautiful presentation. The staff was courteous, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Whether you’re planning a casual outing, a family dinner, or a corporate gathering, Kizakaya is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommended! 🍣✨

The ambience was very lovely as it is completely new and the food was simply delicious. Especially the noodles which they served with curry - a combination I would definitely recommend!

Food wise great! Service could be a lot lot better!! If they are not able to cater to a reservation, it will be difficult to believe better service otherwise!!

We went to Kizakaya on a Saturday night and it felt like a very exclusive invite-only event… except there were only 7 people there, including us. First shocker: no drinks being served. Not sure if it’s a licensing. Food-wise, we had spicy tuna sushi (good), mushroom & chicken dim sum and prawn hargao (okay-ish—nothing memorable, maybe since the chili oil lacked the zing?). The sukiyaki hot pot chicken was the biggest letdown since we were emotionally invested as we really appreciate a hot-pot situation when we are travelling. However, it had more of a noodle soup energy than actual hot pot, and the broth basically seemed on a sabbatical as it was bland. Ambience is actually decent with Japanese-style dining rooms, but the prices feel like they belong to a much more exciting restaurant. Overall, a damp Saturday evening disguised as a Japanese dinner. Plenty of better options nearby, so I’d probably skip a repeat visit.

Extremely unprofessional and unplanned way of working. Their food and ambience is amazing, deserves 5*. BUT YOU'LL NEVER KNOW WHETHER THEY ARE OPEN, BECAUSE THEY DON'T KNOW IT THEMSELVES 😂. Last Saturday (March 28), I had made an online reservation and visited only to find it closed. The lady at front desk apologized and asked to visit Kampot from the same owner. I again called them on Friday (April 3) and the same lady on call told me that they are operational all days except Saturday, so I made an online reservation once again for today (April 5). BUT HELLO, I VISITED AND AGAIN FOUND IT CLOSED. I HAD CALLED THEM ON THE SAME NUMBER BEFORE GOING TODAY, BUT NO ONE RESPONDED. This is beyond unprofessional, so do think twice before you go or better yet don't. I have twice made the mistake of trusting their word of mouth, won't ever again. It's sad, because their food is really good. Cheers everyone!

Very disappointing experience. We had reserved a table for Saturday at 1:00 PM and visited with a group of friends, only to find the restaurant closed. There was no prior notification or update, which wasted our time and left us scrambling for another place. Better communication and proper reservation management are expected to avoid such inconvenience.
