Ratings based only on Taste.. Finally!! Finally visited the place that actually brought variety kulfi to chennai for the first time..And after visiting them after all these years i am kicking myself for delaying it for all these years..A small little cute typical kulfi place..And Service was quick and as it needs to be... Ordered myself a basic malai kulfi and it definitely ended up being the creamiest and richest malai kulfi in comparision to other branded kulfi place... And for the pricing it cant get better

Quaint little place just off Bessi beach, excellent service and even better kulfis! Their kulfis are so creamy and have such a natural touch to them. We had the gulkund and sitaphal kulfi (YASS, it's in season now!!) last night. Both were so rich in flavour and had small amounts of rose petals and custard apple respectively for the natural touch that they promise. Gulkund and Malai are two flavours that I keep going back for since their first outlet in Adyar.

Best kulfi place after the actual Bombay Parsi dairy kulfi that I have had. Visit the beach and stop over at this place. A taste that pleases all ages. Pretty creative flavours and all worth a try. While the cliched flavours are there, there are some Interesting resting ones like paan chili and gulkand. Must try: Tender coconut kulfi

One of my favourite places to visit. Just love the gauva kulfi on which the guy sprinkles salt and chilli powder. Gives us the authentic gauva taste. Other varieties aren’t as amazing as this one though.

It's our Bessy-go-to-place! Whenever we go to Bessy! We make sure, we have our guava kulfi with chilli topping. It's pure bliss, as it's like having the real guava with chilli powder.. And each flavour had its own uniqueness. It's pocket friendly and easily locatable, as it's near Barista. Make sure you visit this place to try their exotic flavours. Must try: guava with chilli topping, coconut flvr, rainbow. One of our favourite kulfi shops in chennai.

Best authentic and natural flavor kulfi is the main attraction of Bombay kulfi. Such a cozy and comfortable place to have ice creams. We can feel the natural flavours added to it when we taste the kulfi I love the tender coconut and guava kulfi which they serve with sprinkling chilli powder on top of the ice cream

Everything tastes great, but please slice the kulfi in cubes and not chop them because it melts really fast in the weather outside. Also, please keep a handwash and some water to clean after someone clears trash from the outlet.

One of the restaurant to visit in Adyar to have an amazing taste of kulfi. Gulkand kulfi taste is touched my heart. The ambiance is neat and clean. In Adyar, this is the best restaurant to have different taste of kulfi.

This is the highest rated eatery in Chennai that I came across. That, and the fact that the name has the word 'Bombay' made me super excited to visit them. Despite of having cold due to temperature fluctuations in the locality, I did prepare myself to not miss this lovely opportunity. Bombay Kulfi is a dessert only place, but I wouldn't call it an ice cream parlour cause there isn't any place to sit, and (if I am not wrong) 90% if their sales would be via the delivery mode. The candy costs around 60 bucks and the slice costs around 80 bucks, which, I think, is bit expensive for a city like Chennai (and also when there's no other hospitality cost involved). The variety of kulfis you get here is pretty good, around 20. Here's what I had: MALAI BADAM SLICE: This one was extremely hard, it refused to soften up and I literally had to chew it i.e it didn't melt in the mouth like an icecream is supposed to! Also, the taste was salty and very weird, never had absurd tasting icecream before. BUTTERSCOTCH SLICE: This one was much better. Though I could hardly taste any butterscotch in here, the texture was smooth and creamy. The taste was just sweet, nothing else. PISTA CANDY: This kulfi candy was better than its slice counterparts. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was flavourful, but it was decent enough. 4.9/5 had my hopes very high for Bombay Kulfi, and sadly I am disappointed. Perhaps the people who love this so much do not know how a real Bombay Kulfi tastes like. But it's alright, as long as people are enjoying whatever they eat! Happy Burping!!!
