the service can be improved a bit more. Food like appam, Parotta and idiyappam was a bit cold while serving. could be improved.

Service is very slow. Chicken Biriyani was not good. Beef Chucaa was good. Meals was ok. Then need to improve in serving food on time and understand what food keep tabs. Maybe the delay might also be in the kitchen.

I visited Malabar House, Besant Nagar today with high expectations, but the experience turned out to be deeply disappointing and unacceptable. We ordered multiple items, and I specifically ordered Kadala Curry, clearly mentioned as a vegetarian dish. The shock came when I served it onto my plate — there was a piece of meat in it. As a pure vegetarian, this was not just a mistake, it was a breach of trust and a highly distressing experience. This shows poor kitchen hygiene and zero quality control. Mixing up meat in a vegetarian dish is not a “minor mistake”; it reflects carelessness and disregard for customers’ dietary preferences and beliefs. When we dine outside, we trust restaurants to serve what they promise. That trust was completely broken today.

The food was so bad probably the worst kerala food i have ever had..there was basically no salt in the appam and egg roast felt like some ghee roast masala and the only thing half edible was erachi choru ..then there was kulukki which i would suggest not to be put in the menu itself if you dont know what it is..and the bathroom was stinky ..but beyond all this what disappointed me was the way the “manager” treated the staff infront of the customers..0/10 wouldn’t recommend to anyone

Pathetic service, the people who serve doesn’t know what dish are they serving and one manager who doesn’t even speak when a complaint is raised.. the ambience and value for price is good but with this service this place is going no where.. horrible place if u are looking for good service to the guest.
