Just another day sipping coffee in between work. The relief you get after a sip of coffee can’t be described in words. So go and visit @sreeakshayam and experience it yourself. They are the makers of yummiest sweets and snacks. Also check out my reel on my IG page - (cafe_de_chennai) for more food related content

Can’t call it a cafe or a restaurant it’s in between both 😊 modernised ambiance!!! Sweets snacks and pastries 👌👌👌 and the best would be the health breakfast options 👏👏live kitchen 🙌👌

The place is packed, as always. Their food is lip smacking. Not a fine dining space, one needs to be patient. Their service isn't constantly good. Depends on the mood of the supervisors. Mostly the ones who serve are patient and help with suggestions too if you're new to this part of the world. They have ample parking space, a +. And, don't miss out on their Onam Sadya every August.

One of the best veg restaurants in Anna nagar hands down , must try their virudhunagar parotta and basanti too good , breakfast is amazing as well, go give it a try you won't regret.

Went into the place only after the rave reviews and the word of mouth this place has over a period from the locals. Tried out a few owing to their reputation,  Kuzhi paniyaram and Paal paniyaram - Typical sour paniyaram with spicy dip for the first plate, decent enough; for the milk variant, it was soft, spongy and soaked in the sweet milk thereby giving a kick along every scoop Charminar idly and Pottalam Idly - Not sure what was the big deal in both; the former had spicy podi being smothered all around while the latter was literally a parcel idly with getti chutney and podi around, Disappointment Paya idly - The paya had too much salt with only sour flavor along every dip, slurpy yet not the best paya Set dosa with Vadacurry - What we thought was the layered dosa but came out was individual dosas with sides; the vadacurry was spicy and good but there was nothing much to appreciate on the whole Gobi manchurian - Semi gravy gobi tossed in mild spiced sauces; was one of the better dishes which was pretty much a snack Madurai Kolambu dosa - TBH, I don't think they served us right since this one came out as dosa with native gravies on the same, NO COMMENTS Mango milkshake - Something brain freezing to end the meal with So, it was sheer disappointment. Except for the paniyaram and vadacurry, this place was not what I thought it was.  The only saving soul was the price despite ordering plenty of dishes. The service was OK, with little waiting time, ambience was MEH and GOOD parking space. 2/5 for the FOOD and 3/5 on the whole as a place.

Restaurant is rigid, they refuse to serve a scoop of Pongal instead of sweet (rava kesari) in a spl mini tiffin. Upon telling him that one of us is diabetic, the waiter asks us to leave it to waste. 🙄

Parcelled the food to home..sambar and chutney are not prepared fresh.. the smell and taste shows that they are spoiled .. had a small piece of plastic in badusha which is highly making us to loose hope in this restaurant.. the restaurant has lost its quality, taste and packing.. we were supposed to give the sweet to kids but luckily we seen the piece of plastic before itself .. the ghee is staled in badusha which will cause stomach problems Very disappointing

Akshayam was one of my favourite places but it has drastically changed. We ordered ghee masala dosa which had zero ghee, we were waiting 30 mins for poori but when we asked to cancel, they said poori is over. They never once apologised for the bad service. It is a saddening that they seem to only care about profit. You cannot retain customers like this!!

Ordered through swiggy. No way to write a review there. Both were spicy bland and just inedible. Worthless.
