Visited this place around 4:30 PM on a Sunday. Tried the Maddur Vada, Bonda, Bonda Soup, and Ragi Dosa. Unfortunately, the Bonda and Maddur Vada were served at room temperature — which, for comfort food on a weekend afternoon, was disappointing. More than just the temperature, the flavors didn’t hit the mark. The dishes lacked the authenticity you’d expect from a place aiming to showcase Karnataka-style snacks. From the branding and uniforms to the ambience and menu design, everything seemed modeled after The Rameshwaram Café — but it felt like a watered-down version. Aesthetically similar, but the soul was missing. Honestly, it felt like what you’d get if an Udupi restaurant was run by someone unfamiliar with its roots. Coimbatore deserves better than just a visual replica of a popular formula — it deserves genuine taste and heart.
