This place was an absolute delight. Chef Kriti worked pure magic with the dishes—we stuck to vegetarian options, but they were incredibly delicious, especially the savory mango tart. Kunal’s service and demeanor were outstanding and impeccably polite. We’ll definitely return next time we’re back.

Really nice place with excellent old school vibe, will definitely visit again. Sahil was our server and he was really nice. Kunal was our host and he was exceptional in his service and conversations. Will definitely visit again

The food was an absolute 10/10 - unbelievable - a must try. Was shocked the veg food was also great. The ambience and vibe created by the owner is one that should be followed across the country

The food is just sooooo good and flavour forward. We tried all the chef’s recommendations and it was absolute bang on. The sip of ocean mocktail is just as it’s name suggest refreshing and nutty. Must must visit Staff is super courteous and welcoming Thank you for the experience !!!

When you hear great things, you naturally build great expectations. And then, sometimes, the expectations leave you longing for more. That pretty much sums up our experience at Assa. Ambience & décor: 10/10. Drinks: 12/10. Food: Hmm… 7/10, maybe. We ordered just four dishes and a dessert, but nothing truly stayed with us or made us understand its reputation as one of India’s Top 50 restaurants. By no means was the food bad; it was genuinely good. You could see the hard work, creativity and thought that had gone into the menu, the team, the space and the overall experience. But perhaps expectations got the better of us. It’s a bit like climbing the Eiffel Tower only to realise it isn’t the tallest structure in the world. It’s still iconic, still beautiful, but the stories you have heard in your head can sometimes be bigger than the experience itself. Maybe that is why it is best to let the food speak before the staff does. Or perhaps we simply need to evolve our palate a little more to truly appreciate cuisine at this level.

Terrible experience. They didn’t honour my booking which I had made by calling them 2 days in advance (and booking via Zomato/District). They offered us 45 mins to finish our food so that they can give our table to someone else.
