SATTVAM: a mode of "Purity", "Positivity" & "Goodness". And this is what Satvik food does to our "Mind, Body & Soul", a gentle whisper on the palate, a symphony of flavors that nourish not just the body, but also the mind and soul. It's a culinary embrace of purity, where each bite is a mindful offering, light and uplifting, leaving you feeling refreshed, light and relaxed. With his great vision and love towards the Satvik Culinary world Chef Aditya Fatepuria along with his Partner started this beautiful restaurant "SATTVAM". SATTVAM a Fine dine Buffet Restaurant located in the plush area of Banjara Hills first rejuvenates your soul with the divine vibes of Lord Krishna as soon as you enter. Then as you take a tour to the Buffet counters your eyes Saviour the Food first and immediately instructs the brain to release a good amount of "Dopamine". 😄. Starting with a wide range of sweets, followed by Chaat counters and then the main course this place has soo many varieties of food that one visit is just now enough to enjoy them all thoroughly. You will actually have to go 3 time to savor each and every dish they serve. This was my first visit to this wonderful place and I will honestly say at first I didn't believe that such a kind of restaurant even exists which serves 50+ dishes absolutely 100% Sattvik. Each and every dish that I tried from: Malai Ghevar to Strawberry Gulla, from Paneer Tikka to the Spinach Basket, From Kadhai Paneer to the Satvik Biryani each and every dish stood way beyond my expectations. I will definitely be going back and this time with my family to have the dishes I couldn't in my first time. Chef Aditya Fatepuria & his partner to starting this amazing Sattvik initiative. HARE KRISHNA, HARI BOL 🙏🏻 Now enjoy the Visual Treat below. 😄.

the food quality, variety, and taste are excellent. service is also good. some reviews said food is bland. not sure if they understand sattvic means what. In the current times of unhygienic and preservatives and artificial food colors, this restaurant is a good change for all of us. The best part is the desserts' portion size. small bite-sized so that food is not wasted.

I visited this restaurant last week and I was very impressed by the ambience and food. I opted for the buffet which was great. I enjoyed every dish which was an amalgamation of indian and chinese. Love counters were there which served Pasta and chaat which were also top notch.

Food in Sattvam is very mediocre. Everything is presented very nice and I love the concept of Sattvik pure veg but the items just tasted mid. Starters were better compared to main course.

The service was pretty good, no complaints there, the servers were super polite, whatever we asked for came quick. The food on the other hand, completely different story, starters were decent (ish), I liked about half of them, the mains were very over seasoned, almost everything had way too much salt or black pepper in it, the only thing that tasted good was the malai kofta, the Chinese and continental options were bland and not worth trying, chaat options were also not so special considering they had been out for quite a while, a lot of it felt very dry to taste. Desserts had a huge variety, but then again a lot of it was either straight up bad or very forgettable. The food isn't worth it for the price you pay, I ended up with food poisoning the next day but that might just be a one off situation, there are a ton of places in the area with way better offerings at a competitive or cheaper cost.

GREAT STARTERS & DESSERTS, AVERAGE FOOD, UNBEARABLE NOISE NOTHING SATTVAM ABOUT THE RESTAURANT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR MINDFUL EATING, FINE DINING EXPERIENCE - THINK TWICE; SATTVAM MAY NOT BE THE PLACE We went for a family celebration (for Friday lunch). So, we went all the way from Sainikpuri to Banjara Hills (some 20 kms). We were not delighted. You will see a paradox at the entrance: a potrait of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on the wall. Don't get misled that this restaurant belongs to ISKON or is an NGO. In fact, a lady was asking the Steward about it. I later discovered on the website that the founders of the restaurant are associated with ISKON. My observation is: that connection with ISKON ends there! On the other side, you will see the differential price of the buffet written clearly: pricing for Monday to Thursday and Friday-Sunday. This is a profit venture. Nothing more. NO GUEST CHARTER: In some of the fine dining restaurants that deliver 'dining experience,' we see someone from the place coming and telling us what all is served on the menu, ask for any dietary restrictions, onion/garlic preferences, what best way/order of serving of the food that the guests would enjoy, and also regularly check if guests are enjoying the food and pamper them. Nothing of that sort happened at the restaurant. We went. We were shown the table. Starters started pouring in. No one guided us to move towards the main course and how best to eat and relish the menu of the day. For example, we didn't know that Pizza also served as part of the menu, or there is a live Chat counter tucked in one end of the restaurant. Or for that matter, the Steward realised that we almost neared the end of the maincourse when he came and informed us that there are Rotis too and he would get an assorted Rotis basket. Disappointed. If Guest is God at ISKON, at Sattvam the Guest is an object/transaction. Money/Profit. STARTERS & DESSERTS - PRAISEWORTHY The highlight of the place is: Starters and Desserts. The starters were absolutely out of the world: Panneer Tikka, Beetroot Cutlet, and Springrolls. They were just absolutely tasty. Dimsums were also served, but I wouldn't rate them as equally tasty as the other 3 starters. Desserts spread is also praiseworthy. Moongdal Halwa, Gulab Jamun (hot), then Mango Gulla, Rasmalai: even diabetics would go for a second round. They are so good. One more Indian dessert - rice Kheer - was ok-ok. I wouldn't have missed anything if it was not there! But what intrigued me was the presence of Western desserts like pastries, brownies, etc. I thought it was against the theme of the restaurant! But the founders know best. MAIN COURSE - SPICY and NOTHING GREAT The spread of the main course was quite appreciable. However, spice (chilly) hits when you have dishes like Bissibele Bath, Sattvik Biryani, and especially Dal Makhni. One spoon and then we had to leave it there. Anything that goes into mouth is no food if it hurts the palette and burns the tongue. The Kofta was good. The curd rice was good. Beautifully presented. Guests will struggle to see the names of the dishes as the tags are placed somewhere at the top (at least 20 degrees above your head) at 2 feet distance. So, guests can be seen struggling to check on the names of the dishes while opening the food pans. LIVE COUNTER There is also a live counter (lovely Dal Chillas) that the Sous Chef makes dishes of your liking. Please state upfront that you want to eat with lesser oil. He will do a good job. NOISE is UNBEARABLE The Restaurant, on its website, states that "mindful eating is at the heart of the brand’s mission." It will do well if someone from the Restaurant actually takes the pains of telling about the concept of mindful eating and how silence and "being to yourself" is part of it. We had a bunch of fellows from (looked like) an IT Company and they were shouting and laughing and not caring for other guests sitting at tables nearby. On the whole, it all depends on what you are going there for! WILL I GO AGAIN - Certainly not!
