Must try Fish fry. We also ordered mutton dish , chicken bharta, chicken lababdar. all were very tasty. beautiful outdoor ambience. a must visit.

It's a great property!!but,their some staffs don't know how to behave with their guests and misguid you with their informations.Behaviour with their customer is most important thing in any business!! Apart from it, Food was really really good!! I ordered 1.Fish Makhmali(4.2/5), 2.Basanti Polao(4.5/5) 3.Dab Chingri(4.7/5) 4.Mutton Roganjosh(2.2/5).. Mutton at any spice hotel at Rs.180 is far far far better than their Pricy Rs.429 Mutton.I told this to their stuff,he said that we will try in future but I don't think anything will be changed. But,FISH items are really really good. I suggest you to go their to taste their fish dishes. I know Cafe Ekante is little bit pricey(2pcs Rosogolla at Rs 129 + Tax etc..something they are actually not justified) But If You choose from their menu sensibly, your test bud definitely will say that 'WAHHH!CAFE EKANTE!!WAHHH'

"Go dine, be fine!" Cafe Ekante ~ Houseboat Restaurant They have two different outlets in the same place in which one is for Bengali cuisine and another is for Chinese. The houseboat offers Chinese . Both were packed up as it was a Sunday so we had to wait a little. Tried their: Houseboat special Prawn - ( A must try) Chicken Gai Sai Takra (A must try) Wok Tossed Gravy Noodles Nolen Gur Icecream - (A must try) Ambience ✔️ Food quality ✔️ Taste ✔️ Aesthetic vibes✔️ Awesome weekend gateway ✔️ Staff service ❌ Price on the higher side

Visited Cafe Ekante which is a houseboat restaurant located in eco park. The ambience gives perfect romantic vibes along with muted decors to match up the mood. The breezy ambience along with delectables are a perfect match to spend some quality time with your loved ones ❤️ Items ordered: 1) Veg Halka Noodles (299+tax) 2) Veg Chilli Garlic Noodles (299+tax) 3) Kung Pao Chicken (399+tax) All the items tasted good and the quantity was pretty ok. This place is a must try for people who are planning for some romantic dates or a casual friends hangout.

If you want to go there for the ambience, you won't be dissapointed at all. The ambience is amazing if you seat in the deck area. However, the problem is food quality, it is minimal, very basic. We had pan fried chilli fish, fried rice and schezwan chicken. Then we had brownie with vanilla ice cream. The starter and the dessert were good compared to the other items we had. But the main course was below average, the price is a bit steep. There are a few chinese items to choose from, the menu is very limited. Service is slow might be due to the crowd. To sum up, food quality, service are not upto to the mark, only good things are the ambience and the brownie.

Ekante is a bliss amongst the city chores, a zenith of luxury and one stop destination for spending time with your loved ones. This picturesque landscape gives you a calming effect to your mind to escape the city hustle, rooms are equipped with wifi connectivity and polite service providers. Only drawback is restricted option of food, you can only have food from the floating resturant (chienese) or regular resturant (Indian and tandur) and that too is pricey compared to the quality and portions. Hope they will be open to food options soon.

We loved the food but the staff seemed to lack enthusiasm. We had to call them thrice to get even a single thing - they lacked initiative.

The place is understaffed and servuce us slow. Food quality and quantity is good and all items are affordable. There are no mocktails on the menu which is disappointing.

Ambience and location is scenic, however food quality is below average. Infact, I took my girlfriend there for lunch when she was hungry and we broke up that day..
