The New Normal Cafe & Kitchen near PNB Salt Lake is unique for its mammoth set meal called The Bahubali Thali. The thali with all its bowls & food weighs 8kg in total. Plus there are 4 tall glasses of aerated beverage & mocktails and 2 baskets of lachha paratha & kachories. The Bahubali thali consists of 30 items including chicken & mutton biriyani, basanti polao, kaju kishmish polao, fried rice, steamed rice, aloo dum, chhola masala, paneer jhal ferezi, mutton kosha, chicken masala, fish kalia, chingri malaikari, raita, bonde, mishti platter, papad, icecream and rest of the 30 items. It's gigantic and good enough for 5 people to eat together. It costs only ₹1500 per thali inclusive of all taxes. That was about quantity. But highlight of the thali is it's high quality food and delectable taste. Every item has its distinct taste and aroma. Very well presented with sincere & efficient service. TNN Cafe serves many other items like sandwiches and comfort foods. Definitely worth a visit and repeat visits.
