আজকাল বেশিরভাগ জায়গায় আমরা বিভিন্ন ধরণের সুস্বাদু থালি উপভোগ করতে পারি। ঠিক এমনই আরেক জায়গার খোঁজ নিয়ে চলে এলাম যেখানে কিছু অসাধারণ থালি আপনারা পেয়ে যাবেন। Tomake Chai er Ambience এইখানের খুব সিম্পল কিন্তু দেওয়ালে নানা ধরনের পোস্টের আছে যেইগুলো এই জায়গার থিম চিত্রিত করছে। এইখানে আপনারা ala carte আইটেম পেয়ে যাবেন যার মধ্যে আমরা ফিশ বটার ফ্রাই, মাটন মুঘলাই পরোটা এবং কবিরাজি খেলাম। কলকাতার সব থেকে বড় কবরাজি পাওয়া যাচ্ছে। এনাদের কিছু রেগুলার থালি অথবা কম্বো আপানারা পেয়ে যাবেন যার মধ্যে আমরা try করলাম Mutton Rajjotok Thali যেইখানেই পূলাও, মাটন এবং ফিশ fry পেয়ে যাবেন।

Very lovely place and friendly staff. Food was delicious. Had their Rajjotok Thali containing Diamond Fisy Fry (1pc) , Basanti Pulao and Mutton Kosha (2pcs). Lovely experience, would surely recommend and also love to visit again.

last night i visited this place and i love that indian combo along with their biggest fish Kobiraji that was really so amazing. Ambience is really good.Do visit.

I had visited this restaurant earlier and the experience was better. But this time the ambience was really disappointing because of the fact that there is a gym right above the restaurant and there was a continuous noise of weights slamming on the floor. Boom bam sounds every other minute. This totally ruined our time of having a peaceful lunch with family. Also, the portion sizes have reduced immensely.

The Ambiance was good. We ordered for 2 mini thalis with Chitol Peti and Daab Chingri along side Basanti Pulao with Kosha mutton and Bhetki Paturi. 1)Starting with the Basmati rice, it was stale and clearly it was microwaved. 2)The bhaja moong daal tasted very sour and was not edible at all. 3) The Basanti Pulao as well was microwaved because while consuming it, it felt very sticky and not the right kind. After complaining about the rice and daal, they made us wait for like 5 minutes to get another bowl of rice, which again was microwaved (then why did we report about stale rice). And when we said about the daal, it was very evident that they all were aware that none of the food items that were served were fresh. Service recovery was done with beverages but the approach was not good. Hospitality was also not up to the mark because, despite of standing right next to us we had to call then 4-5 times to ask for something. We went for a family lunch but the experience was very saddening. Being a Bengali myself who is brought up in a Bengali household it’s very easy to identify freshly cooked bhaat, daal, pulao and any other items for that matter. And lastly the Bhetki Paturi was not available as they claimed that, “Paturi ta noshto hoyegyache” (the cooked fish has become stale). If we wouldn’t have reported about the bhaat, daal, pulao then probably they would serve the Bhetki Paturi as well.
