Chutney was average. Also, service is lacking. Not to say they aren't eager - they try. In fact the head waiter (I think) was as helpful as he could be. But it felt like they just don't know how to serve south indian food. When I asked for a big bowl to have my idli/ vada soaked in Sambhar - I got several blank looks. Just didn't register with them. Also, second helpings of sambhar and chutney - just didn't know how to serve those. But the star of the show? The food. Excellent dosa, even better sambhar. Idli was soft and fresh and every other good adjective you'd want to hear. The rice was good as well. Overall, a pleasant experience. 5 stars for food. 4 for the ambience. 3 for service.

Had their signature podi masala thatte idli- the idli was very soft. However, the podi masala did not taste authentic. Also had the podi masala dosa which was a bit thick (unlike north indian dosas) and very crispy. The sambhar was okayish and was over salted. They really need to improve their service- took 20-30 min for the waiter to bring my order when I was alone in the restaurant in the morning.
