Aram Vada Pav lives up to its reputation with a perfectly crisp vada and soft pav, delivering a simple but satisfying burst of flavor. The chutneys add just the right kick without overpowering the snack. One thing to note: there are two separate queues—one for payment and another for collection—so it can feel a bit chaotic during peak hours. Still, the quick service and consistently good taste make it worth the brief wait.

Aram’s Vada Pav at CSMT is a must-try for every street food lover! The crispy, golden vada paired with a soft, fresh pav is a perfect blend of texture and flavor. The spicy chutney adds just the right kick, making each bite irresistible. Located conveniently at CSMT, it’s an iconic spot for a quick snack. Flavourful, and nostalgic—Aram’s Vada Pav truly lives up to its legendary reputation. Highly recommended!

Aram, a renowned restaurant in Mumbai's CST area, is famous for its authentic Maharashtrian breakfast. We sampled their delectable misal pav, thali peet, kotimbir vadi, and dahi vada, all of which were incredibly tasty. It's definitely worth a visit to experience these delightful dishes.

One of the best places to have vada pav in Mumbai. Service is exceptionally fast, and they provide total value for the money. Affordable yet delicious vada pavs on the go with a view of CST station. Highly recommended.

One of the oldest, best and budget friendly Maharashtrian food place in front of CST station. I am sure every Mumbaikar will know this place. Their Vada Pav is one of the best, I have it everytime I visit CST.

Aram Vada Pav, nestled opposite CST station, is a Mumbai institution. Steeped in history and adored by college students and office workers alike, this legendary joint promises quick, satisfying snacks. I, too, have succumbed to its charm on a couple of occasions. The vada? Spot on. Perfectly spiced, crispy on the outside, and bursting with potato goodness, it delivers the classic Mumbai street food experience. The coriander chutney is another winner – fresh, and spicy, with perfect street-styled dry garlic peanut chutney. However, my love affair with Aram's Vada Pav has a slight snag – the pav. It consistently falls short of the "fresh and fluffy" ideal. Each bite reveals a dryness and slight hardness that mars the overall experience. This is particularly disappointing considering it's in the heart of Mumbai, a city renowned for its soft, melt-in-your-mouth bread. As a chef who's seen India's diverse bread scene, I understand the challenges of maintaining freshness across cities. But for an iconic establishment like Aram, located in the very womb of Mumbai, I expect better. So, while the vada and chutney earn a solid 5, the underwhelming pav pulls it down to a 4 out of 5 for me. It's still a good Vada Pav, but not quite the "travel-worthy" experience I was hoping for. My suggestion – Aram, work on your bread game! Fresh pav would elevate your legendary Vada Pav to even greater heights, attracting even more fans like myself.

Aram at CST is iconic for serving some of the best vada pavs in Mumbai — and rightly so. But don’t stop there — their other dishes are absolutely worth a try too. The place is always buzzing. The ambience is simple and no-frills, but it oozes Mumbai charm. There’s usually a wait to get a seat, but if you’re lucky, you might just snag a table with a view of CST itself. The service? Fast, friendly, and efficient. What we ate: Shrikhand Puri – The puris were hot and fluffy, paired with shrikhand that was sweet, creamy, and honestly the best I’ve ever had. Zhunka Bhakar – A traditional Maharashtrian staple. Packed with flavor, rustic, and satisfying. Kothambir Wadi – Crisp, flavorful chunks served with mint chutney. Absolutely lip-smacking. At Aram, everything is served with warmth. “Aaram se khao.”

I went looking for the famous Aram vada pav and after standing in two different lines (one for the vada pav ticket) and another yo enter into the restaurant, got a taste of it. The pav was cold and rather dry but the stuffing was good. The misal pav was great but I have definitely had better. The staff were super friendly and did what they could to control the crowd while at the same time offer the best service that they could. This place may either offer you a great experience or may just fall flat on its face due to its hype. But they atleast accept online payments. A place worth considering possibly on weekdays when the crowd is lesser than on a weekend.

25% (1 out of 4) of the Potato Wadas (without chutney) was confused to be either an idli or a product out of a Viennoiserie or both - in this case however it was stinky and spoilt even after being cooked. 🤮 Such are the pleasures of Mumbai. The potato wada does need assistance in the form of a Coca-Cola, chaas etc. to digest; which are not offered - with some level of arrogance I must add - by the sellers. They can grow their own coriander, but they don’t. They can add to the nutrition level, but they don’t. They like to rest (Aram) and bask in the glory of someone by simulating what they think would be an offer by the white and green community symbolised by their pathetic sign board.
