Good experience overall. Great cocktails. Food was good too - some very great hits, few misses. Hits - Shawarma, Chicken Kebabs, Hummus Misses - Subz Kebab, Flatbreads (too hard) Baklava at the end settled all things and ended things on a high.

The food was great. We loved it all. One thing we must flag. We would have appreciated if we weren’t rushed over our dinner only 1 hour in.. just because someone else wanted to move to our specific table. And the reason? Not their fault at all. Because the area they sat in had really bad smell, as it was next to the restroom. (Something one of our friends also noticed when we’d come in too) It’s the restaurant’s problem when the environment doesn’t meet the basic standards and comfort for people. It shouldn’t matter if you’re overbooked or not. You can’t profusely request a whole table to rush through their meal, because of a legitimate problem that is very much in the control of the restaurant/manager. Please do better. Didn’t expect this from Bayroute. Everything else was perfect. But this really made us uncomfortable and affected our mood throughout. Our friends were visiting from UK and this was their first impression of the hospitality at Bayroute here.
