Bekal House is an amazing place to try some amazing mangalorean cuisine. It has introduced a new costal and mangalorean menu which has delicious dishes to try. They have a very lively ambience. They have soft music played in the background. It is highly recommended to book the place and visit since it is located at commercial site and is normally full. The service is very fast and it servers some lip smacking foods. It has an authentic menu with good mocktail options as well. Some of the dishes i tried here were: 1) Panchali Prawns: It has Pickled botanical herbs tossed prawns which is mind blowing in taste. 2) Peri Peri Tandoori Chicken: Chef’s special tandoori chicken, marinated in Afro peri-peri and Indian spices, slow-cooked in a tandoor, melting in your mouth to perfection. 3) Spicy Guava Mary Mocktail: It has GUAVA juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and spices like celery salt and black pepper, garnished with a celery stalk. It has a savory, tangy flavour. 4) Tropical Tornado Mocktail: It has Lichi Coconut Powder Blue Curacao And Citrus. It is blue in colour with amazing colour and refreshing taste. 5) Mutton Paya Curry: It has slow-simmered delicacy with a naturally gelatin-rich, velvety gravy, packed with bold spices and deep flavor. Perfect for a main course. We had appam and Malabar Paratha with the main course which went perfectly with it. 6) Tender Coconut Payasam: A Creamy refreshing dessert made with tender coconut, rice and touch of sweetness, offering a tropical twist on traditional Payasam. I would highly recommend to visit here once with your office colleagues or your family for an amazing experience. 💯

What impressed me about this place is one can enjoy the south authentic COASTAL preparation. What makes this place even more special is its name. Bakel House derives its name from an actual house in Bekal, the beautiful coastal town of Kerala, bringing a piece of its heritage and warmth to Mumbai. Take your taste buds on a coastal journey through Kerala, Mangalore, and Goa, where every bite tells a story. From aromatic appetizers infused with red chillies and curry leaves to authentic curries paired with soft Appam and flaky Kerala Parotta, every dish is crafted with tradition and soul. ✨ The starters topped with crispy fried cashews? A perfect South Indian touch.🥥 The Tender Coconut Payasam? An absolute must-try.🍹 And the creative beverages? They're as memorable as the food. Vibe of the place, khud he jaake dekh lena..Traditonal and yet modern.

Recently visited Bekal House in Marol and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers a refreshing take on Mangalorean cuisine along with a mix of traditional coastal flavours and modern presentations. Dishes we tried was well-balanced, flavourful and taste ke kaya kehne. Baat baat khane ka man karega… The ambiance is colourful, warm, elegant, and comfortable, making it a great place for both family dinners and casual outings. The staff was courteous, attentive, and ensured a pleasant dining experience. A special mention for their andhara chicken & Panchali prawns. Majja hi aa gaya.. worth every bite… Overall, Bekal House does a great job of combining authentic coastal flavours with a contemporary dining experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to explore Mangalorean cuisine in Mumbai.

If you are looking for a place that serves authentic coastal flavours in Marol Andheri East then Bekal House is definitely worth a visit The warm inviting ambience makes it perfect for everything from a casual lunch to a family dinner We started with the refreshing Seven Island Iced Tea and the fragrant Dakshina Rose before trying the indulgent Chicken Chilli Cheese Naan Bomb The Mangalorean Paneer Urval was rich and packed with flavour while the Andhra Style Lamb Iguru stood out with its bold spicy taste The Veg Korma was creamy and comforting and paired perfectly with the soft Plain Appam and flaky Malabar Paratha Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared with authentic flavours and quality ingredients If you enjoy coastal cuisine with a modern touch Bekal House is a place you’ll want to keep coming back to

Tried the new menu at Bekal House, Andheri, and absolutely enjoyed the experience! The restaurant is mainly known for its Mangalorean cuisine, along with Indian favourites. The Amma’s Fish Curry, with its generational family recipe, was a standout, while the Chicken Ghee Roast, Blackened Prawns Tikka, Gongura Andhra Chicken, Appam and Malabar Paratha were equally enjoyable. The Mangalorean-inspired interiors with wooden frames, traditional bells and rustic touches add a lovely homely feel. Pair that with their drinks and flavorful food, and you have a great spot for a relaxed evening in Andheri.

Tried Bekal House’s new Mangalorean coastal menu, and it was a delightful experience! The Mangalorean Chicken Urval was packed with authentic coastal spices, while the Panchali Prawns and Prawns Korma were fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. The soft Appams paired perfectly with the curries, and the Chicken Biryani was aromatic and satisfying. The Seven Island Iced Tea and Jagerbomb LIIT were refreshing, and the meal ended on a sweet note with the iconic Gadbad dessert. If you’re looking for authentic Mangalorean cuisine with great drinks, Bekal House’s new menu is definitely worth trying!

Visited Bekal House recently and had a really good experience. We tried a variety of dishes, and honestly, every dish was full of flavour and tasted fresh. The Appam with Chicken Curry was my favourite—the appam was soft and the curry was rich, comforting, and perfectly spiced. The service was good, and the overall ambience was simple and welcoming. If you're looking for authentic Kerala and Mangalorean coastal food in Andheri, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. Looking forward to visiting again!
