I ordered the Basque chocolate cheesecake from cococart in the zomato 50% off offer, and what they sent was stale and extremely dry. it was also tasteless and smelled like the packaging box rather than chocolate. I also got the Nutella log in the same order, which was fresh but also smelled of the box. after complaining, the zomato team replied that since I rarely complain, they would offer me Rs. 50 as compensation. with a "take it or leave it" left unsaid but implied. the didn't seem bothered that the outlet is sending stale products to customers. or that the packaging boxes give off smells that affect product quality. they didn't offer a return or refund. very disappointed in both the outlets policies regarding offer products and their handling of such products. also of zomato's attitude regarding restaurant's substandard product delivery. it seems nobody is ready to take responsibility for the restaurants and are unable to maintain some standards.

the desserts here are really stale and have some issues...i ordered 3 items - kunafa pista, overload brownie shake and tiramisu and all 3 of them had same issue where either the product was having bad taste or stale brownie or milkshake was too watery with almost no brownie in it..on complaining to manager we got milkshake replaced and it was better than last time but still not upto the make where they charge 600 bucks for the same...avoid at at cost until it reaches the brand to make them realise that we don't waste our hard earned money on their cheap marketing gimmicks by giving high offers on Zomato

cold coffee was not cold at all.. lindt 70% dark chocolate and dark chocolate coffee had similar taste
