Nice Ambience a good spread of indian traditional food including Chaats and finger food. Good spread of Asian and Italian options and desert counter with fruits and indian deserts. While masala chai was not on offer the crew offered coffee instead which was a good alternative

Slimy policy of allowing upto 7 ppl for lunch discount offers. Large groups are normally of set of couples, so keeping an odd number limit and then not permitting a separate booking for balance people is just unethical practice.

We have dined at 55 East many times in the past and quality has always been very good. Today the Food was extremely substandard. Choice of sushi was just one veg and one non veg. Muhamra which is normally excellent had no taste The veg hot and sour soup was too watery and had no taste. The veg roasted peppers soup was barely lukewarm. The soba noodles prepared were made too salty and upon reordering made extremely spicy that they were unedible. The Veg Thai green curry was also barely lukewarm. On the whole a very disappointing experience.
