Mumbai bites is a pretty good addition to the ‘quick grub’ scene that’s booming in Matunga and nearby areas of Wadala and Sion. On the day I went, the owner himself was at the joint looking after customers and seeking their feedback which is always a good sign. The ambience is pretty functional with a couple of tables arranged on the pavement and an open well lit kitchen (another good sign). All the tables were equipped with hand sanitizers and the staff all wore masks. Thumbs up for that as well. Coming to the food, I ordered a paneer platter for myself. And maybe because I hadn’t expected it to be THIS good but it absolutely blew my mind. The paneer - and this is not an exaggeration- was some of the best paneer that I’ve had in Bombay. Super soft, crumbly and melt in the mouth. It had that smoky flavour from having been chargrilled on coal. The paneer was also generously coated in a marinade of garlic paste, chaat masala and chilli powder. All in all a wonderful appetiser. The menu is pretty extensive with something for everyone. And has Jain options as well to cater to the significant Gujarati/Marwadi populace in the nearby areas. The pricing is moderate and offers good value for money considering the quality and taste of the food This is a solid addition to the food scene in this area and perfect for grabbing a quick late night bite/delivery option. They deliver via all the popular food delivery portals including Zomato. I will be back to try out more stuff :)

the staff is very rude & arrogant, he doesn't assist any customer properly ,food is okay. service staff gives cross answers, doesn't have sense to talk with customers, don't have knowledge of any dish.

their phone numbers mentioned at all places are always switched off. no way to contact them to provide instructions other than visiting the outlet

Food quality was too low. The staff present was also very rude, arrogant and non-cooperative.
