There’s a spot in Bandra that serves North Indian food so good, you’ll forget that you’re in Mumbai and be transported straight to Punjab. It’s called Papa Pancho Da Dhaba and they’ve got a menu that’s small and straightforward - but they do these dishes so well and in such an authentic manner - we for sure haven’t had such North Indian food in Mumbai. The Dal Makhani, Cheese Kulcha, Makhani Chicken, Kasturi Kebab, Dahi Papdi Chaat and Matka Kulfi - all of your seemingly regular dishes but here it’s all elevated, rich and very real. The interiors are colourful and very dhaba-like. If this is a cuisine you enjoy, save this spot!

Papa Pancho da dhaba is a kind of experience amidst the by-lanes of hype Bandra Pali Hill. You get into this colourful world of roadside dhabas as soon as you step in. Sparkly danglers, colourful patakas, slogans written on trucks decorated on the walls. Food: Good, guilty and gluttonous North Indian food is served with love on brass cutlery. You feel the butter in every bite. Quality is great, though quantity is frequently insufficient for a couple of people. Earlier they used to include dal makhani and dahi etc. with their mouthwatering kulchas and parathas but now they have stopped doing that. Tandoori Starters and tandoor breads are must try for. Service: servers are frank and friendly and a bit too nosy sometimes. Ambience: small place, but they made max out of it. They transfer you to dhaba instantly. Value for money: This would disappoint you, as for what they ask for; their quantity is too little. Hope they work on their quantity. A highly recommended place for small group or family to visit if you are craving some good Kulchas, Parathas, Tandooris and a glass full of lassi.

Went here on last Saturday (11.10.25). The food was great- we ordered Paneer TiKka Sabji, Garlic Naan, Kuch, Afghani Chaap and Dahi Papi Chaat. But the service was a bit slow and we had to wait a whole 35 minutes to get a table in the AC section plus the food came 20 mins after we got the tables even though we had ordered while waiting.

The food was average, the ambiance is small and cozy though had a weird smell to it, the service was quick. Found it slightly expensive for the taste and quantity.

We wanted to visit this place after lots of hype on Insta and different vlogs, however we were highly disappointed with the overall experience. Starting from the wait time of 15-20 mins which is still fine. Once we got the seat, the suggestion for the food by the waiter turned out to be bad. Tried karara seekh kebab which was spicy and not as flavorful. We also tried chole kulche, paneer lababdar and dal makhni which was average. Overall there was no service at all. and we had to ask for spoons plates water many times to get it. Spoke with manager post out meal but his response was also as if he didn't care. We were very excited for this visit but turned out to be the worst experience. Paneer quality was also very bad. Not recommending to anyone and never coming back!

Had heard great reviews for the restaurant but it was meh… not one dish was a banger and we ordered a lot.. dahi papdi chaat was so basic … same goes for mutton kebab.. chicken tikka and mutton bhuna gosht… the food at urban tadka is better and cheaper… it was your average basic food.. not worrh travelling to bandra for..

Hopeless food. I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala Combo Meal. It was very tangy & heavy on tomorrow sauce. When requested to rectify it; the chef added so much garam masala that I ended up having a bad stomach upset for the next 3 days.
