Not the fanciest place in Town. It's rather a very old structure with some good bakery items, and very modest tables and benches. At one of time, they made the greatest apple pies in the whole world. But since Covid, they've stopped making them apparently. Which is very strange, because those were worth their weight in gold. Their bun maska is also good.

There's little to no place to sit. I usually go for takeaways. Their fortune cookie is tasty, the concept is very cute and is a must try. The bun maska is amazing and breads or pav are very fresh. Highly recommended. Very affordable

I absolutely love love love their bread! It's truly a class apart. So fresh, so good. I miss the aroma of freshly baked bread. Can't wait to visit them again! Wish they'd deliver across the city

This place comes up in almost any list of legendary Parsi eateries in Mumbai. Sadly, the bakery owners don't seem to be opening the place for seating or for the Parsi food menu anytime soon. We went for a quick snack, but the place was only offering takeaway for its fresh breads, cookies and Mawa Cake. We tried the Mawa Cake and packed some Shrewsbury cookies. Indeed, both were delicious. Whenever you are near CSMT or going towards Cafe Military / Kyani / BSE / Gateway, do remember to make a stop here. :) The bakery tit bits are worth trying, but I'm saddened that the seating area is shut. The person at the counter even said that the famous Apple Pie is discontinued for good. The place has not renovated its interiors for quite some time - which gives it the nostalgic 50s charm. I surely hope it lives on as one of the legendary bakeries in the city. Writing this on July'22. If they open up for the entire menu again, do let me know and I'll update. :)

Established in 1950, Yazdani Restaurant & Bakery serves different varieties of Irani-styled puffs & cakes. The place is known for delicious Irani chai, bun maska & mawa cakes. They make fresh & pretty awesome apple pie after 3 pm that is also highly recommended.👌 The restaurant has a rusty & basic ambience. The prices are slightly high. Do visit here nearby Christmas week to try their plum cake which is a treat to the taste buds.😋

An old gem in the Fort precinct, Yazdani is a bakery serving your Parsi teatime fare like the Khari biscuits, Mawa cakes, and Shrewsbury cookies. They don't intend on opening the place up for dining but the items are satisfactory in taste and quantity. Some items from the menu are discontinued sadly, but Yazdani is undoubtedly a Mumbai legend! Written as of November 2022.

Iranis are dying for a good reason everything is overpriced and overated the service is bad to ordinary the ambience is horrendous nothing is even remotely a signature taste you can have better bread for a dime at any bakery and for 60 bucks a bun maska there should be more butter than bun instead you get a thin layer thicker layers get added by roadside vendors for 20-30rs the pav is on the sweeter and milkier side and not the traditional bombay pav i hope this irani too meets it's deserving end. and the bloggers who hype any irani which serves the same super sweet tea and generic mildly buttered pav end with it.

None of the words mentioned here shall be construed as an exaggeration. This is a genuine review from a first time visitor who is absolutely dumbstruck as to how and why the hotel exist. First of all the view is brilliant (quite sarcastically) we were privileged enough to see a rat walk over in the premises hoping its not stepped upon the bread we were having at that point of time. Further there was no AC and i could see the workers sweating while working hoping the sweat does not sooth the taste better. Further there was when we entered only one person serving all the people sitting therein. Quite to our sorry surprise we were handed 3 plates of Ban Maska completely unasked for without even asking us what we would like. Out of Respect for the old man we quietly had the Bun Maska. Thereafter we order chai without sugar and my learned friend who got us the tea forgot we have order without sugar and hence went back to get a sugarless tea but ended up getting hot water with colour in it. It was indeed devoid of any taste but merely tasted as of hot boiled water with a pinch of milk in it. But the story doesn't end here. After we got up to pay the bill we were completely astonished to hear that the price of each bun maska is Rs. 50 and that of colored boiled water sorry i mean tea is Rs. 30 (Full Cup). We reluctantly paid the said amount and thought to ourself "Acha Katgaya Hamara". Thanks for the patient read.
