During our impromptu long weekend visit at Mysore we happened to stay at JP and orchid is their in house restaurant. Food - We had lovely spread of buffet available starting from luchi, cholar daal, dosa, podi idli, fresh juices etc. the spread is pretty satisfying and the quality of food is great. Ambience- The ambience is elegant and comforting. Value for money- Goood Customer Service- Fantastic customer service.

We went on impromptu visit to Mysore and this Orchid in JP was open but unfortunately the lunch was finished. They only had chicken and veg biryani option which was ok. But luckily they cooked Dal khichadi for the kids which was really kind of them. Hotel was very nice with good food options.

Veg options are quite limited and not all dishes are up to mark. Dessert was good. Price mentioned in zomato is not correct. As per zomato buffet price is 799 +taxes but actual price is 999+taxes. Request zomato to update price

Food was not good at all , they really have to improve the taste of food … Deserts was really tasteless (moong daal halwa was tasting like tur daal ka halwa ) 2 starters all in all

Extremely pathetic. 1.You are given two options Buffet that's readily available and ala carte which would be served 45 mins later ! A clear indication to promote their buffet. 2. Buffet highly priced with a substandard variety ,quality and inferior taste. 3. Had been there for a pleasant experience but turned out to be an unpleasant and negative one . Certainly a BIG NO for next time !..

The buffet here is completely disappointing. There are very limited options, not even 10 proper food options. Full meals in any hotel would have more options than this buffet. The taste is not even matching a 2 star hotel. Even hotel staff are guiding the guests to go to other restaurant in the same hotel. So I didn't get why they needed this restaurant at all.
