My experience was amazing Everyone was happy. We had a great time and amazing food. I feel sorry for Mr Pankaj who didn’t like it as much! Although I want to thank him for his detailed review. Sir, you make it better for all that come after you!

The ambiance of this place is nice but food is bland. I went a couple of months back for buffet dinner and everything on the menu was subpar in taste. Even the desserts were not great. The pasta which I had was tasteless and when I asked the chef to spice it up a bit to suit my taste, he said he won’t be able to do that and suggested me to eat naan and chole instead. I have never seen such behaviour from chef and staff at even local restaurants.

Birthdays are always special — especially when the birthday girl takes charge, Buys her own present in advance, Decides exactly where she wants to eat. This takes all the guesswork, planning, and potential heartbreak out of the equation. What’s left is just pure anticipation and love. My only responsibility? Make the table reservation, get ready on time, and drive everyone to the venue. Like a diligent husband, I booked the table well in advance (thank you, Zomato!). The day started perfectly — we were almost ready on time. Then I made the mistake of trusting Google Maps instead of my own brain. That’s when things started to go south. I took a wrong turn, ended up with a 20-minute detour, and we were officially late for our reservation. Bithika was trying her best to stay calm — she’s wiser now and understands the futility of pointing out the obvious. When we finally reached, the hostess greeted us with a smile… which vanished the moment I mentioned our Zomato reservation. She muttered something and disappeared — just like her smile. Not quite the warm welcome I was hoping for. The manager appeared shortly and explained that they no longer accept reservations through Zomato, and that all Zomato bookings are eventually declined. Apparently, Zomato (in its infinite wisdom) doesn’t bother informing the customer — we’re expected to keep checking our booking status ourselves. I had exactly two responsibilities that day — and I had already failed at both. Thankfully, they were gracious enough to offer us a table. The Buffet We knew we wanted the buffet — but, as all Indians do, we still spent a few minutes browsing the à la carte menu before deciding… yes, we wanted the buffet. The buffet was simple: no hidden nooks, no surprise counters — just a straightforward spread. Arnav and I had a clear plan: Start with cold cuts, cheese, and salads Move on to sushi and mains Finish with dessert Not that this was some clever strategy — everyone does exactly the same thing. We always skip the Indian and Chinese counters (not our cuisine) and avoid compound salads (too much going on), though we do wish for more fresh leafy greens. In the end, we focused on about 30% of the buffet. Service The management trainees were trying hard, but the stewards looked like they were simply going through the motions. It felt like they were just working to complete their shift, not to create an experience. Food Expectations were high — after all, this was The Oberoi. 1. Cold Cuts Disappointing. Just cold… something — lacking creativity and completely devoid of soul. No ham, no prosciutto, no pastrami, no pepperoni — nothing exciting. Just some fish and chicken. And chicken on a cold-cut platter? It’s just… chicken. I had to settle for an overcooked, cold piece of lamb leg. The chef seemed more invested in the vegetable garnishes than the meat itself. There were a few tempura-fried cubes of some unrecognizable vegetable — the trainees guessed it might be artichoke, but I was sure it wasn’t. With asparagus and avocado, I somehow built my plate. 2. Cheesy Cheese They had a decent variety, but two things stood out: a) No Brie or Camembert — my personal favorites. b) Overuse of cheddar and Gruyère/Emmental — these are cooking cheeses, not cheese-platter cheeses. I get that they’re cheaper, but they just don’t belong here. 3. Sushi Bar – The Turning Point The buffet looked colorful and cheerful — but we weren’t. We were still searching for that spark, something to elevate the experience. The sushi bar was exactly what we needed. A nice spread, a live counter taking requests — finally, a bit of excitement. They even had cooked rolls for those who prefer them. We started with the sushi already on display. The rice was flavorful, with a slight nuttiness — most restaurants fail to get sushi rice right, so this was a pleasant surprise. Feeling braver, we tried the eel and octopus. Both were good — but we’re North Indians, and there’s only so much “adventurous seafood” we can handle before retreating. We were happy. Could we have eaten more sushi? Definitely. But buffet dining is about strategy — our stomachs are finite, and space management is key. 4. Beef Wellington (Or Not) Our next stop was the Beef Wellington — something both of us had been eyeing since we walked in. For Arnav, it was going to be his very first Wellington. For me, it was nostalgia on a plate. We asked for a medium-rare piece, but the chef looked puzzled. Eventually, he handed us an overcooked piece and said that’s all he had. And then came the real shock: it wasn’t beef Wellington at all. It was lamb Wellington. I have never heard of such a travesty. The execution was poor: The puff pastry had turned soft and separated from the meat. The base was soggy, likely from a wet filling or a low oven temperature. The mushroom duxelles were tasteless. The jus was overly thickened and had no depth of flavor. The whole dish was a disaster. Arnav was heartbroken — and I had nothing to say. This was his first Wellington, and this was the memory he would carry. After the wreck called Wellington, we were no longer in the mood for food. This is when we discovered that it was a no-beef, no-pork buffet — the abundance of chicken and fish was their way of compensating. Now we wonder what they do at breakfast — chicken bacon? Mock bacon? Would they? And more importantly — why would they? Desserts The dessert buffet was… just okay. I’m not a big fan of mousse and pastries, so that didn’t help. It was the usual simple, predictable spread. I wish they had taken a more creative route — maybe gone back to classics or showcased some forgotten recipes. Overall A just-okay place. Not as expensive as it could have been — but I still expected more. But then again, my wife was happy — and it was her day. And that was more than enough for me.

Oberoi is one of the most popular hospitality chains across the world. However, the food served at the 360 restaurant on 23rd March was below average. We went for early dinner and it was tasteless, completely bland, and served cold. We ordered Alfredo pasta, mezzo platter, margarita pizza and chaat platter. And everything was completely tasteless. Extremely disappointing experience.

The starters were average. The iced tea was extremely disappointing, completely lacking in taste. For the main course, we ordered butter chicken, which did not taste like butter chicken at all. It had a bitter taste, possibly due to over-roasting in the tandoor. The chicken quality was very poor and even had a slightly sour taste. The butter naan was equally disappointing—served cold, stretchy instead of soft and flaky, and quite small in size. Rice quality poor. They charge so much so atleast the quality they use must be of class. Desserts were also not up to the mark. The cheesecake did not taste like a cheesecake, and the Belgian chocolate gelato had an unexpected mint-like flavor. Overall, the food quality was poor, and the waiting time was long. These reviews dont make any difference to the management anymore but something seriously needs to change. Please think twice about spending exorbitant amounts of money on horrible food. Your money will be better spent at Taj or ITC.

My family went to 360 for dinner over the weekend and the staff did not even give us the main menu! They gave us a different menu for a limited-period collaboration they wanted to push. It was much later that we realised their intentional omission. Imagine going for dinner at what is supposed to be a restaurant of India’s leading hospitality brand and realising they haven’t even given you your whole list of options. This was more than an oversight. I have never been to any restaurant where they have failed to give us the proper menu. This was LOW for Oberoi. The food itself was nothing special. In fact, the portions were tiny and the taste was unpalatable. The service of the restaurant as a whole was inhospitable. There is nothing at all remarkable about 360. Please choose somewhere else to eat if you want to have a a half-decent time. To repeat, this was my worst dining experience to date. I recommend 360 to absolutely no one.

Terrible service … average food and low ambience - I have been visiting for 50+ years but Oberois has really gone down … its definitely not what it used to be in terms of exceptional service during Mohan singh Oberoi but even PRS Oberoi continued the high tradition but after that the son and nephew have ruined the service and hospitality and it is going to the dogs … The Taj - Claridges etc are really coming up in comparison and definitely need to be chosen over the Oberois - after spending 4000 + per person if this is what you get in terms of service it definitely doesn’t deserve to be called any star

We usually love threesixty , so went for bites today and ordered cold coffee, told the servers clearly that I am severely lactose intolerant and hence asked for almond milk milk for my cold coffee and ……….. even confirmed when it came , and now have severe stomach upset and reaction that I get from milk . Just unacceptable

I have been going to the restaurant very often. But for the last 2-3 times the food and services have gone really down. Last night our experience was infact worse than ever before. They didn’t have half of the dishes available. And whatever they served was really very below average. Hight disappointed!!
