Biryani by Kilo is one of my favourite outlets for ordering kebabs and biryanis. Delivery was on time and food was packed properly. Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani – Had Hyderabadi chicken biryani which was aromatic and tasted fresh and yum. Mutton Galouti Kebab – Minced mutton marinated with ginger garlic paste and cooked to perfection. These will just melt in your mouth :p Best eaten with their Ulte tawa ka paratha. MUST TRY!! As the name suggests, Biryani by Kilo is a place specializing in serving the best biryani there is and in the most innovative and the most presentable way. I didn’t know that until I tasted it myself. I made my order a takeaway, so can’t really comment about anything apart from food. I got myself packed a couple of things which were:

Biryani by Kilo is without a doubt the best delivery outlet I have ever tried. From the quality of the food to the unique packaging, I just couldn’t find a single flaw in it. They were also very exact with their delivery timings. Right off the bat, I fell in love with their biryani after watching that they delivered it in a mutka to keep it fresh. It was designed to heat up the biryani before consuming it. truly amazing. I tried the Veg Hyderabadi Biryani which was no less than perfection. highly recommended. I also tried the Veg Gulati which was neither too dry and neither too soggy, just the perfect amount. They tasted delicious with the hari chatni that they provided. Last but not the least was their breathtaking Matka kulfi. It left a lingering taste in my mouth that I still crave till this date. Overall, I just fell in love with this outlet and cannot wait to order again.

From the Khansamas of Lucknow to the Nawabi preparations of Hyderabad to the humble amalgamations of Kolkata, tempting kebabs and curries. But if that sounds like any other Biryani place, what’s so special about BBK? The biryani comes in two sizes, half or one kg and they have started a most beautiful concept. Angeethi aur Aanch which comes with an earthen chullah so that you can give the final “dum”to make you savor the biryani even more.

If there is one thing that we are always on a hunt for its biryani. This is a well-known Indian delicacy which is perfected especially in some parts of this country and literally abused by poor preparation in most. After having tried nearly dozens of biryanis in Delhi NCR, we stumbled upon ‘Biryani By Kilo’ and as per usual habit, decided to try it because the quest for best biryani is simply not over.

Imagine a situation where you are craving freshly prepared, hot dum biryani at your office and you do not want to eat it to get cold while it is in transit(if you order it). Can there be a place which can solve your dilemma? Yes, there is, by the name of Biryani by Kilo. I was surprised to find an earthen pot having three candle holders. You can use it heat the earthen pot having the dum biryani. Easy, isn’t it?

Chicken 65 was not oily, without taste and not at all like the original Hyderabadi recipe. It was tasteless with too much spice, and maida covering. The worst I had tasted from BBK

Uncooked mutton pieces in Biryani. Long time BBK customer, but their Mutton quality has gone down since mid 2020. Mutton is mostly neck-bone and back-bone pieces and whatever little meat it has is half raw, undercooked. One of the worst biryanis now.
