We happened to visit Maharashtra Sadan yesterday as we wanted to taste Maharashtrian cuisine. The sadan is recently revamped and looks beautiful and the canteen also has a new look,the service however was below average. We ordered veg Maharashtrian thali which was good.the masala baath that we ordered wasn't even properly heated. the varan of varan bath was watery. Puran poli was good after eating one we wanted to order more but were told it's finished 😝.

I used to be a fan of this canteen. I live in Noida and took my family to this place today for dinner. We ordered our usual Bharli Vangi and Kolhapuri Dal. We have had these two dishes many times but today they were disappointing. okay, disappointing would be understatement, it was abomination. The quality and taste have beeb tremendously downgraded. It was my last visit to the place. Thanks for your service all these years.

Surrounded by a group of friends originating from Maharashtra and craving home food, we landed at the Maharashtra Sadan for dinner. I had ordered the Masala Bath, but it ended up tasting like Schezwan Fried rice. I have eaten authentic Masala Bath from Nagpur and this was honestly nowhere close to it. The Daal Khichdi and Chaas on the other hand were like a long, tight hug.

I visited this today with my family , this is accessible by local public only if you have are a govt employee and show govt id card , Canteen is near gate no 3 of maharashtra bhawan ,campus is beautifuland calm , within a min we realised staff behaviour is rude and arrogant for sure, as soon as we were seated as he demanded to order quickly , we ordered two starters , 3 main course , breads , biryani and deserts except roti everything was cold they served main course first,5 mins later one starter and while we were finsihing our meal they gave last starter , so service is pretty slow and unorganised most rude part was he demanded to get up as soon as we were having out last bite , he refused to accept payment by zomato or swiggy pay and demanded tip

The place as you enter looks magnificent. But the food is terrible. The paneer we ordered had excess spice and no salt, the veg seekh kebab had more of chaat masala on it than any other spice, the aloo dish was too bland and the puranpoli is as thick as a aloo paratha. More than that, the cost is exorbitant. Go at your own risk.

We went to old Maharashtra Sadan & the food was sub-standard at best. The mutton and chicken biryani had so much oil & absolutely no taste. Kadai Paneer tasted really bad too. The service was also really slow.

I don’t know, why security guards only allow govt employees to enjoy food in this canteen…. Management should look into this

Service are not up to the mark....arrogant staff...staff can come and ask to getup while you are just sitting to have your food
