The food and service is very good. The only issue was with the quality of paneer - it didn’t taste like authentic paneer and I shared this feedback with the manager who was quite receptive about it and said that he’d look into it.

Food was really amazing however they have changed their staff which i found little unprofessional and casual maybe restaurant is cost cutting . Overall food was amazing!

The food at 1978 was quite disappointing. The naans were very chewy instead of being soft and fresh. The paneer tikka masala didn’t taste like an authentic paneer tikka masala at all—the recipe and flavors were way off. We also ordered sushi, which was not good, and to make matters worse, we found a hair in it. The staff did replace the dish after we pointed it out, which we appreciate, but the overall food quality did not meet our expectations. Unfortunately, this was not a satisfying dining experience.

Was explicitly written in District application that Alcohol is served in the restaurant and when we went and sat there to order we were told that alcohol is not available and we had to eat food without drinks.

We found a stone in the pasta and immediately brought it to the servers attention. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to visit
