If you are a Bengali, then Oh Calcutta is the best dining place for you. The food is delectable and cooked to perfection. The buffet spread is perfect as well.

Had a beautiful lunch at Oh Calcutta, the hilsa thali was excellent. Ramprakash ji very kindly served us.

I am a very regular guest of this place and this place is 1 hour away from my home. Still I visit every month because I love the food. This time when I visited on 22nd August with my parents, I was very disappointed. I ordered for Hilsa fish fingers and Pan fried Asian chilli fish. however we were served Mochar chop and chilli fish. We told the server that we don't want the chop however he forcibly put them on our plates. Later we kept waiting for the Hilsa fingers which never came and the server came to clear the appetizers plate. When I highlighted this, he murmured that hilsa fingers are not available and no apologies or alternates were suggested. In the main course we ordered moong daal which was so sweet that it seemed like sugar syrup was added. plus the excess ghee in it made it inedible. The same was highlighted to the server who again did not do anything about it. The biryani which used to be a hughlight here is now just masala rice which stick to each other. We are spending almost 6-7 k on one meal and charging for things which the guests have not enjoyed or removing items which were incorrectly served, seems to be a big problem here. Hope someone will read this review and take some corrective measures.

Ordered a chicken dum biryani with much expectations. it was very bad. the rice was thick flavorless. The whole biriyani was dry. It had a very bland taste. Had heard much about it but experience left a very sour taste. Left a poor impression for my non Bengali friends
