Had an amazing lunch at OriBonng with My Wife and her friends! We tried the Gandhoraj Ghol, Mutton Thali, Katla Fish Thali and Mourala Fish Chochori — every single dish was absolutely delicious and gave us the authentic taste of proper Bengali cuisine. The ambience is just wow! Beautiful paintings and artistic touches in every corner of the restaurant make the whole place feel warm and cultural. Special mention to the owner as well — very friendly and well-behaved, which made our experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Bengali food in Gurgaon! ❤️

Absolutely love love the hospitality and the food. Ambience was aesthetically pleasing, but the show stopper was the staff and the owner herself. Every item in the menu is carefully curated! The taste of the food will take you back home. Every OriBonng out there, must visit this place.

The food was delicious and fresh. we ordered the mutton thali and bhekti paturi which was great quantity for two people. The ambience and service was also excellent. Definitely worth a visit if you like or want to explore Odia /Bengali food

Excellent food and authentic. Also the cafe owner and her staff are so polite and understanding. I was there with a hungry and slightly cranky 5 year old. They managed her so well. Thank you for a perfect Friday night dinner.

Lovely food , extremely good ambience and soft good music. Portions could have been a bit more but the service and taste made up for it. Overall a very filling and delicious experience

Went with friends on Pohela Boishakh eve, and although we couldn’t get a seat—which is understandable given the rush—it would have helped if there was a better system for prior reservations. We eventually settled for takeaway, which turned out to be equally underwhelming. The food was strictly average, nowhere close to justifying the high prices. The biggest letdown was the fish fry—the coating was excessively thick, had a slightly sour aftertaste, and the actual fish fillet was almost non-existent. For the price they’re charging, the quality is simply not acceptable. Definitely needs serious improvement.

This is the worst restaurant i have ever eaten in my entire life. let everyone know that my wife and I are very frequent eaters at good restaurants. we rarely give any negative reviewfor any restaurants. however I must share this experience. We visited this restaurant under my family member name Jadab on 18th April 2026 2 pm. They had all the tables unoccupied and when we 7 people tried to sit in the first table, the lady asked to sit on last table where extreme sunlight were pouring on table stating all other tables are reserved whereas there were no signs. we didn't raise any concerns and gladly sat on last row where sun heat was pouring on a gurgaon summer. after 1 hour of our dining, nobody came to occupy the table. it remained unoccupied and we were kept in the sun. The kochipata chingri we ordered, we ordered two plates of kochupata chingri, both the plates were of two different color , taste and texture. simply understood one was not prepared fresh. when we raised query, she stated one plate was prepared in the morning. thats horrible! They claim every food is prepared fresh , and we bring guests there, they serve same item of two plates of different taste and color. Simply mistrust we ordered Katla Kalia, I can bet on this that the fish was not fresh. it had a weird taste. When I just shared the feedback, they immediately got defensive.. Mutton pulao is tasteless just like masala rice, no taste. and don't ask me about the mutton pieces. no substantial pieces except bones. And their service... Poor attitude, impartial treatment, not accountable, liers. not at all value for your money for the prices they charge. They charge twice of Oh Calcutta, serves like footpath. Only thing I liked is their utensils and art work in the restaurants. one can certainly visit for these two!

The food may be good, but the service completely ruined the experience. The biggest disappointment wasn’t the waiting time - it was the rude and dismissive attitude of the staff. As a customer, I don’t expect special treatment, but I do expect basic courtesy and respect. We drove for almost an hour, planned our weekend around visiting this place, and were spoken to as if the staff were doing us a favour by serving us. We are paying for the food; we are not receiving charity. What made the experience even worse was the owner’s response to feedback. Instead of acknowledging the issue or apologizing, the owner chose to justify and defend the staff’s rude behaviour. That speaks volumes about the culture of the restaurant. A good owner has the maturity, humility, and professionalism to accept genuine feedback and use it to improve the customer experience. Unfortunately, that was completely missing here. If the management cannot handle honest criticism and believes customers should simply tolerate rude behaviour, then they shouldn’t be surprised when people choose not to return. One customer not visiting your restaurant may not affect your business, and that’s perfectly fine. Likewise, I won’t miss anything by never coming back. Good food alone is not enough. Respect, hospitality, and customer service matter just as much. Sadly, this restaurant failed badly in those areas. I would not recommend this place to anyone who expects to be treated with basic courtesy.
