Amusing to find such a good sustainable food restaurant in a small city. While the menu is small, some of the dishes were not available. However, the food still did blow our mind. From the mezze platter, the falafel and baba gannoush were very creamy. Pasta was soul satisying, extremely tasty pesto sauce. Loved their kokam drink, Ive never had one served with a hint of green chilli, it just elevated the taste to another level. Most importantly, they serve really good artisanal coffee in the middle of nowhere. Visiting this cafe felt like a great choice to all of us.

Great ambiance, beautiful interior, and amazing food. Been in Pondicherry for 4+ days and nowhere did we find coffee as great as this place (came here thrice just for the coffees). The owner’s proactive involvement in the day-to-day operations is what really sets this dainty cafe & its food apart Great job!

Conscious Café was an absolute delight! The place has a calm, earthy vibe with excellent food options — wholesome, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt fresh and thoughtfully made. A perfect spot for a mindful meal that nourishes both body and soul.

Absolutely love this café! The ambience is great and the food is fantastic. They offer a great variety of healthy options, and their mezze platter and zucchini pasta are personal favorites. Don't miss out on their unique drinks and desserts. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place on the way to AUROVILLE .. soothing gesture, peaceful setup, soulfull food, healthy menu and kind service. Tried Green queen soomthie and mushroom toast . Must Visit place.

Conscious Cafe has a decent ambience and food however the hospitality has left much to be desired. We had an issue with our bill transaction and we spent half an hour cooperating with them to resolve it however Mr. Zulfi (manager/parter) behaved with us like a roadside goon. He had no manners and kept insisting that “it’s not his problem that our bank is not working” (this was after we showed him our google pay AND bank transaction proof of debit). Despite us cooperating with him, he was horrible in his behaviour. In the end we paid the restaurant the bill twice, and we are awaiting for them to resolve it with their banks. Those who wish to visit, I’d suggest you carry cash and count in front of Mr. Zulfi else he’d accuse you of theft.

This café falsely advertises itself as pet-friendly. Today, a waiter wearing a grey T-shirt and an orange cap was shockingly rude and unprofessional. He loudly announced in front of everyone that the café is not pet-friendly, using dismissive hand gestures as if to humiliate us. If you don’t want pets, stop misleading customers. And if your staff can’t manage basic politeness, they shouldn’t be working in customer service at all. This behavior is completely unacceptable and far below any reasonable standard. I will never return and do not recommend this place to anyone

I do not suggest to visit this cafe at all. it's been 1.5 hrs we are sitting to get our orders and it's coming slowly one after another. we asked for appam at first and the server said it's not available.after 5 minutes he came and told it's available.so er changed our order. now after 40 minutes the server days appam not available..although we were the first group to enter the cafe but they served orders to the next tables.the reason was given that their order was given 5 min earlier than us. altogether service is too poor and not worth of the cost that we paid.

On a quiet Saturday afternoon i came to this cafe to enjoy some peace and ordered a frappe but before even finishing was asked if I’m done as they had others waiting. Wasn’t able to finish my coffee. And i hardly sat there for 15 mins. Whereas the other foreigners didn’t get the same treatment despite having being done with food. Racial discrimination against our own people. Wow. Quite ironic given the name of the cafe.
