The flavors of Korea, all on one table – from spicy kimchi to savory bulgogi, it’s a trip to Seoul without the flight! ✈️🍚 Thanks @gungthepalace_pune For hosting us so well !! @milestonepune If you're looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, Gung The Palace at Orchid Hotel is a must-try! The beautiful fine dining setting, paired with exceptional service, made our visit memorable. A lovely touch was the complimentary snacks they serve with drinks, like kimchi and small pancakes—such a delightful way to start the meal. Plus, we enjoyed traditional Korean drinks like Soju and Makgeolli. Below are must try dishes : saeu twigim -fried prawn jab chae noodles -stir fried glass noodles pa jeon- spring onion pancake haemul pajeon - seafood pancake #KoreanFoodLovers #FoodExperience"

If you’re looking for a true culinary adventure, Gung is the place to be! This Korean gem is a feast for the senses, where every dish tells a story. I had the pleasure of trying their Momos—perfectly steamed with a burst of flavor—and the authentic ramen, which was rich and comforting. The ambience is vibrant yet cozy, making it the ideal spot for both a casual meal and a special night out. The crowd is lively, adding to the overall experience. The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who genuinely care about your dining experience. Whether you’re a Korean food aficionado or a curious newcomer, Gung delivers an unforgettable meal. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!

Gung The Palace in Pune is a hidden gem for authentic Korean BBQ lovers. The 20-year legacy from its Delhi origins shines through in the quality of food and service. The interactive BBQ experience is a treat, with premium cuts of meat and fresh sides like kimchi and pickled radish adding to the authenticity. The staff is attentive, guiding you through the grilling process if you’re new to it. The ambiance, with traditional Korean decor, makes it feel like a little slice of Seoul in Pune. Perfect for both casual outings and special occasions.

After my lunch date with the girls at Gung - The Palace, where a handpicked few of us really indulged in the ceremonious and interactive nature of Korean cuisine, I can very confidently tell every friend who asks, THIS IS THE PLACE to get your 'as good as the real thing' fix of Korean food! 🤌🏼 On the menu.. 🍜 Banchan (Kimchi, Namul, Jorim) - Small bowls to be shared by the table, as tasting sides to begin your meal Kimchi Jeon - Kimchi pancake Pa Jeon - Spring onion pancake Saeu Twigim - Golden fried crumbed prawns Jab Chea - Stir fried glass noodles Tteokbokki - Rice cakes in hot sauce SSam - Korean BBQ Soju - Korean rice wine There's an array of more options to choose from on the Gung menu! 😍 You are welcome to ask the very helpful staff for guidance as you choose what to order. 👍🏼

The food was excellent and the ambiance was decent. But don’t let the “fine dine” and “authentic” labels fool you. The service was abysmal and completely unprofessional. 1. *Incompetent staff.* The servers had zero knowledge of their own menu. They couldn’t explain dishes, didn’t know what was available, and were useless for recommendations. For a fine-dine spot, that’s embarrassing. 2. *Shady payment practices.* We booked a full-price table via District, and they still refused to take payment through it. Bait-and-switch much? 3. *Illegal service charge bullying.* When we asked to remove the service charge, which courts have ruled cannot be forced on customers, they argued and interrogated us for a “reason.” That’s not just bad service, it’s unlawful. 4. *Kicked out like trespassers.* Near closing time, while we were taking a few quick photos before leaving, they literally switched off all the lights to force us out. Rude, petty, and the most unwelcoming experience I’ve ever had.

The food used to be absolutely delicious when they first started, but over the last two months they have dropped their quality substantially. I had to send the Wagyu back 3 times.

Its a good place for non-vegetarians But its unbearable for vegetarian as it really smells a lot of non-veg food And veg food options are extremely limited and also not tasty If you are vegetarian please only go if you can bear the taste
