My recent visit to Irani Cafe was more of an unplanned one as I ended up at this place only because my first two choice of outlets were closed. Irani Cafe has become a very well known franchise across the city in a very short period of time. Now, you can find a outlet in every corner of the city. Previously, visiting an Irani cafe was considered a rare delight and a meaningful event for meeting your friends over Irani Chai and Bun Muska with only a few outlets out there that were revered like Good Luck, Vohuman and Dorabjees. Now, this franchise has made Irani food a daily staple among Puneties. I visited Irani Cafe, on a weekend, Saturday morning for a late breakfast around 11 am with a friend. This outlet is located in Wakad. Roadside two wheeler and four wheeler parking available. The place was only half full and we got a table on the 1st floor. They have two levels of indoor seating here. On the ground floor and 1st floor. It is a medium sized outlet. The ambience is average. As the name suggests, Irani Cafe specializes in serving a wide range of Irani vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. We ordered Chiken Kheema Ghotala and Chiken Cheese Omlette along with Buns. The Chiken Kheema Ghotala was great as always. It is my favorate dish at this place. Minced chiken along with eggs along with perfectly balanced spices. Loved it. The Chiken Cheese Omlette was equally good. Lastly we ordered Chiken Cheese cutlets. I was quite skeptical about this one but thankfully it tasted really great. While the food was great the service was equally bad. They were severely understaffed with only 2 guys catering around 20 tables. There was confusion while taking our order. Further they served the wrong food to us initially. It was quite a task to get the waiter's attention. And the service was incredibly slow. The tables also faced similar problems. Disappointing. Good quality and quantity. Reaonable prices. Would prefer to visit other outlets of this franchise with better service.

just little too costly vibe is good but it doesn't make sense to have just bread toast of ₹100 and other bread items but still vibe is good and food quality is also good.

A foul smell permeated the restaurant; many food options were unavailable, and the tables were smelly. Hygiene needs improvement.

"Legendary Disappointment Café" Walked into this so-called iconic Irani café expecting a taste of nostalgia. What I got instead? A crash course in patience, disappointment, and unintentional fasting. No power back-up – so you're dining in a sauna if the power goes. Staff so limited, you feel guilty asking for water. And the food? Let's just say the pricing is legendary, but the taste took an early retirement. And oh, the rules! You need a lawyer to explain the café’s “Dos & Don’ts” list. Felt like I was back in school – minus the fun and food.

closed the lights, bad food, let us in even after past closing time , they should've informed us before hand that they are closed. but they still let us in. due to police going by, they closed the lights while we were eating and made me pay the bill with my messy hands , because they were past closing time. couldn't they wait for 5- 10 mins

Worst place ever. They use same knifes for veg and non veg food and we found a chicken piece in veg sandwich. And after complaining they are not even apologetic. The owner’s attitude is even worst. No quality of food, no service just Pathetic place. Specially all the VEGETARIAN please avoid this place.

The only thing okay was the food. Rest everything was a mess. We waited for almost an hour to place the order. Then. another 25 mins to get the order. There was no one around. Also when the order came, the waiter was confused as to whose order this is. Worst experience. Never going there again
