I visited Marz-O-Rin recently for the first time. Having lived in Pune for my whole life, it was quite a surprise that I didn't visit this place before. However, last weekend as was on MG road, I visited this place with a friend. Marz-O-Rin is one of the legendary restaurants in Pune and has part of this city's legacy for decades. Parking can be a bit of a task. I visited this place on a friday night near closing time. It is a medium sized outlet with seating on two levels. The ambience is really simplistic and cool. It has a rustic charm to it. We got a table easily on the first floor owing to the time of our visit. This places specializes in serving a range of snacks, bakery items and beverages. We ordered their famous chutney sandwich and kool blue chiller. The chutney sandwich was really great. The coconut based green chutney was absolutely lovely. The kool blue chiller was great as well. The staff is polite and the service is fast. Good quality and quantity. Reasonable prices. A really great place to spend time with your friends and family.

I have been visiting this place since i was 12 and for the first time i felt quality is downgraded. Especially for Chicken mayonnaise. It was very dry and the chicken was less than usual and the amount of mayonnaise was very less. Also it took so much time to serve the food. Since i deeply trust this place I expect better service and testing in future visits.

I visited this place last weekend for the second time years ago. I know it's iconic and what not..but one thing I can't bear with is being served food with fake ingredients. We got a sandwich and two marzipan, it was too crowded so we got them to take away. The sandwich was ok, nothing exceptional. But the marzipan, there were no almonds involved in making them. In fact these almost feel like they are made of something super chemically/unhealthy, besides high amounts of weird tasting sugar. come on! you are doing so well, at least don't serve fake ingredients.

Something has changed and it was absolute chaos. Only sandwich allowed for parcel . Other menu item had to be had in the restaurant itself , but the staff was not allowing to go upstairs where the restaurant is , until other are free seats . We wanted pasta and it was neither available to take away or in the restaurant as the queue was long . This was not the case few months back . Management should take a note of this as the nearby food joins are picking up business due to this .

I am a Punekar and a very old customer. But for the very first time I tried the ground floor pick up counter and it was a very disappointing experience. Eggless plum cake was dry and stale, sandwiches were also not fresh, my stomach was upset after having chutney sandwich. Please collect your order from first floor, there they serve fresh food.

Rude staff at the counter. Had to repeat order several times before being taken seriously, with continued mistakes being made regarding parcels. Kindly ensure respectful behaviour towards customers.

The vegetable sandwiches we got were stale and spoilt, could not eat at all. The tomatoes were rotten and stinking ! Horrible experience, very disappointed! Additionally there was a plastic piece in the chocolate milkshake we got !

Chicken sandwich was dry and served cold. Tasteless food. Quality needs to be improved.
