A family outing became satisfyingly complete after eating here. Good and really fast service, huge portions of food and amazing maharashtrian taste contributes to a blissful experience.

After hearing some positive reviews from fellow Punekars, got the courage to try out Masaledar for the first time and I would say it was pleasant one. We arrived at around 8 pm on Sunday and waited for around 15-20 mins to grab the table. Later, due to crownd coming in, waiting time strectched upto 30-40 mins. Since it was first time, I avoided ordering large portions and started with half Shahi Chicken Dum Biryani and voila it came as a real surprise. Biryani was cooked well, spices on spot and pieces of chicken were well tenderized. They servered along with rassa and some onion curd salad. Qunatity of chicken was also good but I would have liked little more. Went ahead and ordered half Shahi Mutton Dum Biryani as well. Mutton was well cooked, juicy. Spice levels were at par. Overall a great experience going there, and this can be an easy go to Biryani spot for me.

This place is a paradise for biryani lovers. I recently visited with my office friends for lunch and we were absolutely delighted with the experience. We began our meal with some delectable paneer starters before indulging in the main course of aromatic mutton biryani. The tantalizing aroma of the biryani was enough to whet our appetites, and the taste certainly did not disappoint. The flavors were so exquisite that it's difficult to put into words just how delightful the meal was. If you have an affinity for biryani, I highly recommend trying the mutton biryani at this establishment.

Amazing taste of biryani! We ordered chicken biryani and taste was much better than Sadashiv peth Masaledar.

Thalis are good but the biryani can really be better! The spices aren’t aromatic in case of Biryani. But their chicken, mutton thali is good. And chapatis are great! They should work on the portion of Solkadi!

Service is pathetic with genuinely no hecks given by staff/ manager. At 8:55pm today I gave name after checking whether we will get a place to sit and eat in another 15 minutes. Those who came after us got seat before us for reasons best known to the staff. After waiting for 30 minutes and asking why people coming after us got a preference we got a table. We placed an order the only thing which came on time was our order of chicken and the remaining order took forever to come and after multiple inquires we got balance food yet rice was to come. During the meal we told them multiple times and finally the manager came and said what you ordered isn’t there but we can do steam rice in place of your regular order, so we cancelled the last order and moved to pay the bill. At the counter when I informed the manager again that the service was pathetic and not great then he said ‘Acha’ - moved to receive the payment and end of story. Definitely not visiting again as the dine-in experience was pathetic.

This place served me the most ridiculous excuse for Chicken Dum Biryani I’ve ever seen. It was sweet — literally tasted like someone dumped sugar into rice and called it biryani. An absolute disaster. No aroma, no masala, no dum… nothing. Just a bowl of sweetened rice pretending to be a main course. If this is their “biryani,” they seriously shouldn’t be in the business of selling food. Total disappointment and complete waste of money.

Absolutely disaster of an experience. Person sitting at the billing counter was horrible and was extremely rude and unapologetic despite the goof-up in the order. He was more interested in defending himself than sort the issue. We immediately left the restaurant Will never recommend due to this worst experience…..
