Yesterday had a birthday blast @Mercure Sriperumbudur . Address - It is located in Cp 8 Sipcot Industrial Park Oragadam Sriperumbudur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 602105 Parking facilities- very spacious 2/4 wheeler car parking . Safety precautions- The temperature of each guest is being checked and recorded at the time of check in . Make sure to wear mask and sanitise your hands . Ambience- Ambience is very pleasant with comfortable seating space . Team leader Sourav suggested the best dishes given below Soup Thai coconut chicken soup Staters Pappads with mint chutney Veg manchurian Kung pao chicken Non veg platter Main course Rajasthani jungli mass Murgh tikka lababdar Kadai paneer Dal Makhani Bread basket Jeera rice Dessert Oreo cheese cake Walnut brownie Cocktail Mock tail My review Thai coconut chicken Soup - I must say this the best soup with soft chicken pieces, chopped corn and perfect ingredients. Must try this for winter. Starters Started with crunchy Pappad & mint chutney . Perfect combo. Enjoyed it Veg manchurian- If you like the Chinese starters then it’s a best choice. Don’t have second thoughts. Just go for it Kung Pao chicken- Chicken pieces was well cooked and combination of ingredients was great. Enjoyed each and every bite of it. Looks very colourful and taste was just awesome. Non veg platter Platter includes murgh tikka Jahangir, murgh malai kabab, samundri tulsi jhinga, kasundi fish tikka . This was top among the all. Pieces were perfectly marinated and cooked . You get this platter along with salads. Must try this. Tried their F5 cocktail . It’s a combination of lime, mint, ginger, cucumber, vodka . So refreshing. You get burp after every sip . Just try this. If you prefer non alcohol then go for mocktails. Coming to the main course Bread basket . Basket includes masala kulcha, butter naan, roti , lachadar Paratha . Except naan they used wheat for making rotis.. Very soft and chewable. They served hot with varieties of side dish includes Rajasthani jungli mass, Murgh tikka lababdar , Kadai paneer & Dal Makhani . Each and every gravy was unique and great. Loved the kadai paneer particularly . Creamy rich gravy with big paneer slices made me crazy. Coming to dessert had Oreo cheese cake . It was so soft and melted in mouth. My daughter enjoyed walnut brownie . Thanks to Mr. Sourav for being so friendly and chef Emam for making our taste buds super happy. Special thanks to Mr. Prasanna, Marketing head for giving me this opportunity. Will highly recommend this place

Dinner done! The experience of buffet was nothing less than an exemplary one. There was a widespread of good items with 4 starters - 2 Veg & 2 Non-Veg 1) Beetroot Kebab 2) Crum fried Babycorn 3) Plum Chilli Chicken & 4) Tawa Fish Each one was unique & tasty in it’s own aspect. They were different yet left an everlasting impression in me. Tawa Fish is the highlight. Each starter is served with a perfect side dish. Kindly ensure that you do not miss eating with it. Chicken Manchurian Soup was excellent. They were well cooked & mixed well with the soup topped with potato crisps. The Mocktail was a real good one as well. I saw after looking at my drink, an expat was asking for the same drink to be served 😊 Then there is “Make Your Own Salad” section. There is also a LIVE Kitchen wherein you could get whatever you wanted to - be it Indian breads like Naan/Paratha or the Italian delicacy - Pizza. The Desserts section was tempting as well. I liked the Gulab Jamun in particular. This goes well with Ice-Cream. They had kept strawberry flavour with Choco chips & Choco Syrup. There was a section for Indian cuisine which includes white rice(steam), Rasam, paruppu Podi, ghee among others. There were other items like Chicken Dum Biryani, Egg fried rice, Malaysian random chicken curry, Fish curry, Noodles & others. Overall, a fulfilling experience which has left an everlasting memory in my food tasting mission. Please note that the restaurant do not offer buffet lunch on Saturday & Sunday. It is only a-la-carts.

this is the only international hotel in the oragadam industrial hub. the best restaurant to try  for lunch or dinner buffet good food, very friendly staff's, always smiling face.  great place for team gathering. starters kung pao chicken and masala fried fish was awesome, hara bara kebab was mouth watering.

Got chance experience food during my stay at Mercure. Excellent food awesome service.dish presentations was eye appealing. Andhra chicken curry was tasty. Specialy like to mention about chef Chaitanya - he has excellent knowledge of food and he top in customer service. Overall great experience! Keep it up

Having stayed at Mercure for almost 3-5 times, I can confidently say that their A La Carte Service at melange is much better than Buffet. The buffet is just an excuse to serve bad food topped with good service. Appetisers are usually cold, fruits are usually stale, main course dishes are average and so are desserts. The only good thing is the Service which is very good for this property. Buffet is half decent in Breakfast. On the other hand, A La Carte service is fantastic. Ordered Paneer Bhurji, Paneer Butter Masala and  Mexican Quesidilias: All were every good. I would only order their A La Carte next time. Also, be aware the VAT on Imported Alcohol in Tamil Nadu is 58% so don't order Corona, Order King Fisher.

Buffet options leads lot of improvement, both on no of starters and also they need to serve it fast. In both my visits they had fried starters both was not good since they served late and cold. Deserts options and taste wise needs lot of improvement, really I felt dull. 1 time i had packed lunch, it was awesome, it had very good briyani flavourful and with succulent pieces. All this happened 6 months back. Now some of colleagues told positive reviews especially the buffer they had in the pool side.

Melange at Mercure looks beautiful with soothing views of the pool and we went for lunch buffet and the spread of the buffet is less with no live counter, taste of the food is good,service needs improvement. Overall a decent experience! Buffet Included: • 5 Veg & 6 Non-Veg Salads
