This is the fine dinning restaurant that the magnificent Tak Lake Palace boasts of. As you enter the restaurant, a sitar waadak is at the entrance waiting to welcome you with soothing music. The staff is very warm and courteous. They serve you with a 4 course meal that I bet you cannot finish. They first serve a clear shorba/soup followed by a starter, you can pick veg/non-veg. After this comes the massive thali which is overwhelming at the first look itself. The thali consists of 4-5 kinds of rotis/Indian breads, Dal baati choorma, gatte ki sabzi, laal maas, chicken, ker saangri, raita, pulav. They then serve 3-4 varieties of desserts like Ras Malai, rabdi jalebi to a name a few.

The North Indian/Rajasthani fine dine restaurant inside Taj Lake Palace can be used for dining only by guests staying here. A place for Royal dining, the food here is really very tasty. The murgh tikka masala is most recommended dish, followed by paneer butter masala and gutta curry. Don’t forget to order some crispy butter naan with it. The paan they offer at the end of the meal was a show stopper. Great ambience and really nice staff. Looking forward to visit again soon.

Went to Neel Kamal with a lot of expectations given all the hype. Service and presentation were absolutely flawless 👌 - the staff really know how to make you feel special. But the food was a big letdown. Except for the almond shorba (which was really good), nothing else stood out. At first, I thought maybe Rajasthani cuisine just isn’t my thing, but even my wife and mom-in-law felt the same - so clearly it wasn’t just me. Honestly, for a place of this level, the food quality and taste need to improve a lot. Since the hotel has only 2 restaurants, it really impacted the overall stay experience.
