I was visiting Vadodara this Christmas and on 24th December..after the movie at Inorbit ..i was looking for quality food near my hotel at Alkapuri..After exploring all the options RC Dutt road..i just took an extra step to see what's around the new bridge..I bumped into Ghanni Khamma..it looked niche and exclusive...for a moment it would be super costly... however hunger took over than logical reasoning..as soon as I entered the restaurant I found it was indeed very exclusive only few seats and only few dinners( one group)..the menu was very niche to rajasthni cuisine..i was surprised to see chicken/mutton dal Bhatti...I went for it... preparation time long but it was worth every second...my first bite of chicken filled churma and dal Bhatti loaded chicken was fantabulous and tasty...it was not spicy as requested and was very delicious...the portion was good two people..I managed to hog all alone such was the appetite after first bite..got to know later that they had a huge setup in a different place and they recently opened this small setup two days back..felt lucky to have dined this place while visiting the city.. hopefully to visit soon and try other dishes in the menu

We had such an amazing experience here. We had reached and there was a waiting of 5-10 mins but we came back late and even so they were so courteous to specially arrange a table for us! The hospitality itself was simply wonderful. Now coming to the food, we ordered lal maas, which was authentic and lip smacking; rajwari paneer, which was also good; mutton biryani, another tasty dish and finally maal pua which was not their best item but it was okay. Overall definitely worth the visit!

a good place to go out for lunch/dinner. Ghani Khamma is not your usual affair, bringing in Rajasthani cuisine to Vadodara. Good food, great vibes, and super mutton. Tried the mutton tariwala with rice, which was just about perfect. So that’s a recommendation. Other than the customary Rajasthani dishes, take a chance on the palak shorba. It is an underdog that goes big. Thank you for the good time.

Loved the food and courteous behaviour! Would definitely recommend the place!! The food was hot and fresh served with good portion. Rustic Rajasthani cuisine with right balance of spice and chilly.

Superb taste and authentic Rajasthani cuisine. The tandoor non-veg items are delicious and must try.

We went here on a Sunday evening and by sheer luck, even without reservations, we got a place for two. We were served with the menu and water immediately and we quickly ordered Chicken Shorba. Then we ordered Tariwala chicken, jeera rice, lassi and fresh lime soda. The thing that one must keep in mind is that ask for recommendations. Reason being, apart from the menu, there are a few other dishes which are available off the menu as well. Soon after our main course order, the shorba arrived. Flavourful, rich and full of shredded chicken. Quite tasty and very different from the regular soups we get. By the time we finished our soups, the main course items were ready and served. Chicken Tariwala had a thin, rich and red gravy. It is spicy but it is not hot. So, it makes the food flavoursome while not making it burn your mouth or tummy. We loved it. Jeera rice, 1 bowl per person would be our reco if you are having only rice. Lassi was sweet and soda was nice as well. The onions could have been frehser. Word of caution, please reserve before you go for the seating capacity is limited and wait times can be long; and of course, please respect your reservation as well. We would return here to try out the laal maas and koyla chicken, heard a lot about these.

The food was ok but the service was very poor. We were the first customer but our order was delayed, the one who visited after us was served first. When we asked they said ‘gharke log hai n they ordered from home’. We were only two person with a kid but still we didn’t got the preference. The place was not even kid friendly, no sitting arrangement for 6 mth old baby and no parking arrangement. Behaviour of owner and staff was very rude as if we don’t care. We will make sure our friends and family don’t visit this place again.
