Vezzoso and Collina, strong from the success obtained with their previous album of originals written by four hands, decided to continue with this formula by creating a collective of artists named Travel (also the title of their first album).

Travel was recorded with the participation of Trilok Gurtu and Dominique Di Piazza (also present in this opus), and it met with great success with the public and critics, especially in the United States, where it entered the Jazz Week Charts (the ranking of jazz radio stations in the USA) at position 81.
