Aagaaz is a four-piece ghazal set curated by Delhi-based artist Suhavi Kalsi to bring back baithak-style performances to the world by celebrating compositions of legendary ghazal artists like Begum Akhtar, Noor Jehan, Ghulam Ali and more. She aims to put forward the importance of Urdu poetry and literature in this beautiful genre and highlight the poet’s take on their ghazals and the meaning behind famous compositions. She is dedicated to merging music and literature as a whole and making people fall in love with words along with the music they are moulded in.
