This August, as we reflect on the spirit of independence, Siyah Art House opens its doors to an unforgettable sonic journey led by the legendary Susmit Sen — Founder and Lead Guitarist of the country’s longest running fusion-rock band, Indian Ocean and one of India’s most distinctive guitar voices.

August String is more than a concert. It’s an experience of sound, silence, and stories — woven together by a genre-defying artist whose music moves between raga-rock, folk fusion, and pure emotion.

Susmit will be performing timeless classics like Kandisa, Ma Rewa, his signature instrumentals like Depths of the Ocean, Neo Swing, and newer pieces from his latest album Azaadi, including the evocative title track — a soulful tribute to the true meaning of freedom.

For the first time at Siyah, Susmit brings the Chronicles ensemble featuring Sudheer Rikhari, Ananya Dutta, Vaidehi Goyal, and Nikhil Vasudevan, promising a night that’s raw, honest, and deeply immersive.
