This Friday on 28th October, High Street Phoenix invites you to the next edition of AWESTRUNG with one of India’s most iconic Hindi rock ensembles – Euphoria.

The Delhi based Rock band- Euphoria was formed by Palash Sen and his friends in 1988 who became the pioneers of the Indian pop music that hit India in the mid nineties. Their albums like Dhoom, Phir Dhoom, Gully and others made a rage and topped the Indian Music Chartbuster. Their latest new single ‘Halla Bol’ addresses nearly everything that has been plaguing India lately, as Palash Sen and his band hit back with peppy trademark Euphoria beats which has been receiving an overwhelming response. The song takes on social media trolls, selfie addicts, and hilariously lampoons celebrities ranging from a popular bhangra rapper to a leading politician, and the anchor of a leading English news channel. The band is currently under the process of making of a short film depicting their journey of 18 years which is slated to be released next month. The video will also be a part of Euphoria’s upcoming album. The band currently comprises of- Dr. Palash Sen, DJ Bhaduri, Prashant, Ashwani Verma, Rakesh Bharadwaj, Vaishali Barua, Krutika Muralidharan, Amborrish Saikia and Vinayak Gupta.
