Held on weekends near the full moon, each edition brings together select guests under a sweeping transparent canopy. As the rain taps gently overhead, the season is imagined as something to lean into. Soulful performances, monsoon-inspired cuisine, tactile art, and incredible installations come together to create an atmosphere that is both calming and stirring.

The first chapter of Baarish is set to be on the 21st of June 2025 at the glistening Travancore Palace in New Delhi. At the venue, interactive art installations come alive to your touch as monsoon mists swirl around and santoor strains echo the hush of rain. The delectable monsoon thali by Café Lota draws from memory—jackfruit koftas, smoked corn soup, saffron phirni. As you dine, historian Eric Chopra dwells on evocative historic art that captures rain as emotion, from love to longing.

With nightfall, as the raga Megh Malhar is reinterpreted, the rain joins in and becomes part of the surreal performance.
