Be inspired by the city's architecture, quite by lanes and summer hues. Bring to life these everyday experiences and scenes on paper with artist Parinitha Konanur of Kesari Studios.

Join us for a 2-day Sketch Walk and learn the basics of watercolour sketching, composing, and techniques of drawing natural surroundings. You’ll also learn how to create free flowing sketches, using a pen and watercolours.

On this walk, we will explore the iconic Victoria Statue in Cubbon Park, Bandstand and secret by-lanes of MG Road.

This workshop is a kick-starter for all those who think they can’t draw, and for those who want to further explore their art form.

So, here's the plan for May 6-7, 2017:

May 6, Saturday: 4 pm to 6:30

We meet on Church Street near Socials at 3:30 pm and then head out to Cubbon Park

May 7, Sunday: 8:30 am to 11:00 am

We meet near MG Road Metro station, and then move on to discover secret bylanes of this bustling street.

Finally, as a wrap we head out to a nearby cafe on Sunday morning to unwind with food and drinks.

About the Artist:

Parinitha Konanur is an artist, illustrator and designer. She has a degree in fine arts from Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. She loves exploring different facets of urban and travel sketching.
