Jaipur has always known how to feed people like royalty. Hosting a guest here has long meant spreads so generous the table barely fits them, and that spirit is now showing up in a quieter, more polished way through the tasting menu. The beauty of it? Someone else has already done the choosing, so there is no staring at a menu wondering what to order. Just sit back and let the courses arrive.Picture a hall where kings once held private audiences, now serving dinner course by course. Or a palace that was a Maharaja’s home, with gilded mirrors, painted ceilings and a mirrored doorway you walk through before the first bite. Chefs are digging into old Rajasthani recipes, local salt, fiery chillies and millets, turning them into plates that tell the story of the desert.

Inside The City Palace: Sarvato is actually located within Jaipur’s City Palace, in a historic building that was once used as a private audience hall. It is also a seasonal restaurant, so check availability before planning the evening. A Rajasthan Story: Rajrasa builds its experience around the idea of bringing different regions of Rajasthan together at one table. Its Royal Raspatra set menu also gives diners a chance to explore regional dishes in a more structured format. Jamavar comes with a backstory: The name comes from the Jamavar shawls of Kashmir, and the restaurant took over the spot once known as Mohan Mahal. The service team in Jamavar is all women, and dinner runs during two sets, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, so pick your slot when you book. Download the District App to reserve your table, unlock exclusive offers, and discover your next favourite spot.
