Started in 2014, Bombay Bandook is a six piece fusion band from Mumbai, India. Though the core band consists of six members, the band frequently collaborates with various musicians, to create an even richer sound pallet and a more massive sound stage.

The idea behind the compositions is fairly simple, we take Raags or Ragas, which are modes in Indian Classical Music and use them to create a more modern and western music based sound, with the fusion genres ranging from jazz to progressive rock and everything in between.

The six core members themselves come from a wide range of musical backgrounds which adds to the unique sound of the band.
