About the artform

Brush Calligraphy falls under the umbrella of the artform of Calligraphy and is a modern version of it. With the brush, a lot more flexibility is achieved, which helps you obtain different variations in the weight of the strokes. This gives result to letters that look beautiful and alluring on the paper. It is a fun and relaxing artform where you can let loose and enjoy!

Day 1:

• Introduction to Brush Calligraphy
• Tips and Techniques
• Brief introduction about materials used
• Procedure of using a Brush Pen
• Formation of basic strokes
• Formation of small letters

Day 2:

• Formation of small letters (continuation)
• Connecting the letters to form words
• Formation of capital letters
• Learn to form bouncy style letters
• At the end of the 2-day workshop, you will have learnt various Brush Calligraphy and created a beautiful artwork using the letters.

About the Artist

She is a self-taught calligrapher, artist, author, designer and an Educator. Writing has always been one of her favorite things to do as she was always fascinated by the sound of when pen meets paper. Six years ago, after a year of rigorous practice and elaborate learning, she started her journey as a full-time Calligraphy artist. She believes that every stroke of a pen brings her closer to the artform!
