About the Event

On Saturday, 20th June, 2020 at 830 PM (IST) (8 AM PST), Roxane Gay will speak to Kavya Murthy of Champaca about the writing process, personal narratives, our bodies and desirability, and a life on the internet.


Roxane Gay is the author of AyitiAn Untamed StateBad Feminist, Hunger, and the editor of the anthology Not That Bad. She is a contributing opinion writer for the New York Times. Her work on feminist themes, politics and culture is deeply honest, thought-provoking and witty.


Not That Bad, edited and introduced by Roxane Gay, is available in Champaca, and on our online store. It is an anthology of essays and writings, reflecting on personal experiences with rape culture.
